WWE Cuts Ties With DSW

A shocking turn of events unfolded today, as members of Deep South Wrestling learned that their promotion was no longer affiliated with World Wrestling Entertainment.

WWE representaive Bruce Prichard (I loooooooooove yooooou!) was sent down to DSW recently to investigate. Apparently his feedback was awful. He buried the company, much of the talent, and the way they did business.

On Prichard's recommendation, DSW is now once again a true independent, ending a two year relationship with the E.

Mike (Nova/Simon Dean) Bucci is one of the talent relations staffers with the Fed. He was told to go down to DSW today to help facilitate the split, and take care of any loose ends - tangible or political.

The big question is, what the hell is going to happen to DSW talent? Of most significant interest to many O-sters, the third generation superstar Nattie Neidhart and her fiance, TJ Wilson.

Apparently, some DSW talent will head to OVW and many will be released. There is also talk that Booker T's fed could become the new official feeder promotion to the E, and will take some of the workers.

More on this story, and the impending releases will be published in the next few days.

When I read that last night, that was the only thing I could think of. I kept wondering what would happen to the large amount of talent down there. Only time will tell apparently.

I think Nattie Neidhart has already started in OVW. This is a good opportunity for WWE to release a lot of talent they're not happy with and just use this situaiton as an excuse.

Lance Storm wanted to start a territory in Calgary years back. You'd think with all the talent coming out of Ontario they would put a territory here.

It's sad that they stopped their relationship with DSW but how much talent has the E used form there ? What is also sad they just let a few wrestlers go form DSW last week or the week before including a local talent John Bolen who use to wrestle for IWC in Pittsburgh.

I think WWE should start a developmental league in Canada cause there is alot of great talent up north.

I hope Nattie Neidhart and Harry Smith start on WWE tv soon cause I'm dieing to see them wrestler. The E is England next week that would be a great palce to debut Harry Smith on tv just like they did with Merella in Itly.

Bookers promotion is most likely the frontrunner. He has talent like Hardy and Helms come down for him. It's apparently got alot of talent as well.
