In a bizarre turn of events, a story broke today that Corporal Kirchner is in fact NOT dead. Thomas Spear is dead, but Mike Kirchner is not. The problem with the WWE.com story was believing that the two men were one and the same.Ths story was published by WWE.com and finally proven false by Kirchner's mother Jean.
She apparently contacted the WWE offices to let them know that her son was in fact alive and well.
Thomas Spear did in fact die in Maryland last Sunday. The confusion may have come from the fact that someone with the WWE believed that Spear played the Leatherface character in Japan.
Mike Kirchner (the Corporal's real name) is in fact alive and well.
He is living in Florida and working as a truck driver, working for a big company called TMC.
All of us here at Tha "O" Show apologize to the Kirchner family for spreading the WWE's faulty story.
Inexplicably, the WWE has not published a retraction or apology. They have taken the story of Kirchner's death off their site, but nothing more.
