Thursday's Thoughts

If you've been reading any of my stuff over the past few months here on Tha O Show, you know I am not in favour of the Rey / Chavo feud or the fact that they are both being pushed on Eddie Guerrero's back.

Their entire character and entire feud is based on a guy who died almost a year ago.

The inclusion of Vicki Guerrero as Chavo's manager (or advisor, business manager or whatever the hell they called her) is really starting to piss me off.

Does it seem right to you that Eddie's widow is one of the biggest heels on Smackdown? Does it seem right to you that because they involved her in this story and she's been aligned with Chavo that she is now being booed out of the building every night? Personally, I find it disgusting. I think it's completely tasteless.

I hope they are paying Vicki a Diva type salary (although I seriously doubt it) and making all of this worth her while.

Some people are just way too sensitive! Apparently Triple H has heat in the ECW locker room for his comment on Sci Fi this week. When Shawn asked if they were in the right place, Hunter said "Bingo". Some moronic kool aid drinkers apparently took offence and saw that as an unnecessary dig. Um, hello? This is professional wrestling. Unnecessary digs are par for the course. Invest in thicker skins boys.

Speaking of sensitve ... the WWE issued a formal appology for Matt Stryker's comments in his ECW segment this week. Stryker made some comment about never being dumb enough to swim with sting rays. All of a sudden the freakin' Steve Irwin fan club shows up with torches and battle axes. I liked the crocodile hunter as much as the next guy who never watched his show... but C'MON! The guy played with dangerous animals for a living! How did you think it was going to end up for him? Really, he's lucky to have hung on this long, and not had his neck snapped off by a croc.

Before anyone asks... Stryker won't feel any heat from this. Brian Gerwitz wrote the comment for Stryker and Vince approved it.

Hey ... where the hell is Shelton's Momma? Scratch that - where the hell is Shelton?

Sylvan Grenier has got all kinds of heat on him for lobbying quite blatantly for a push. Note to Sylvan Grenier: YOU ARE SYLVAN GRENIER. YOU GET NO PUSH (except from Pat).

Since I'm handing out notes, here's another one. Hey Miz, you suck. HOOO-RAAH.

Tag team wrestling legend, "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton was released from the Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tennessee earlier this week. Eaton had suffered a heart attack but appears to be recovering. Get well Bobby!

What the hell happened on Raw this week? Super Crazy - who has been on the shelf with elevated liver enzymes - goes from being burried on the Velocity Web Show to picking up a win against the returning Chris Masters? The same Chris Masters who was main eventing Raws and pay per views last year? What the hell? Did I miss something? Is this a huge Super Crazy push - or a Masters slap? My guess is the latter. Apparently Chris has rubbed a few people the wrong way since coming back and he could be see several more losses before things turn for the better.

I love this story: Dalip Singh - better known as The Great Khali has been 'suspended' from his mark job in India. How's this for not playing with a full deck? The dude signed a contract with the WWE, but never bothered to resign or ask for a leave or anything from his former employer. Singh has been working as an assistant sub-inspector with Punjab Armed Police. He apparently called in sick a few times and just hasn't shown up for work. Dumbass.

In the on going Kurt Angle saga - he has apparently received soft offers from various organizations both in pro wrestling and MMA. At this time Kurt seems to be laying low. The common belief is, he wants to rest up and get clean - then return to the WWE. Kurt seems a lot more optimistic than the WWE does that a return is possible.

I think the creative team at Smackdown may have really found something with the combination of Kendrick, London and Ashley. That seems like a fit to me that has legs. I hope they run with it.

Does anyone else not enjoy seeing Ric Flair make out with girls young enough to be his F'N GRANDDAUGHTER??? I'm jus' sayin....

As you know, we'll be at Unforgiven in the first row on Sept 17th. Look for the following signs:

Trish 4 P.M.
Edge: I think you know me
I wish JBL was here
I stole this sign from Lodi
Edge + Belt = Ratings
BOYCOTT RAW If Cena wins!
Toronto is Copeland Country

Anymore suggestions?? Send them in!

We are adding several new writers to our ranks here at Tha Show in the next couple weeks. Dan-e-o and I are pretty excited about the potential these new contributors will bring forward.

Tha O Show t-shirts have arrived!! Shirts will be placed in our online store next week and available for purchase!! Show your love!

Love the Sexton Hardcastle reference....

Ok, Jeter - do you wanna go for the grand prize? What was the name of the faction Sexton Hardcastle was part of along with several other Canadian stars?

OMG I LOVE THE SEXTON HARDCASTLE BIT!

Good guess Watch...

Actually ....

Sexton Hardcastle, Christian Cage, Joey Legend and others were members of a group that tore up the indies known as "THUG LIFE".

TNA's Rhino was also affiliated with the group, as was Tha O Show's own Kingdom James.

Well...I was gonna say Thug Life until you mentioned it before me Big Daddy.
