The following is a column by The Stro formerly WCW's Maestro.
Greetings everyone! Hope you all have had a great week. Mine was long, but productive. Been some nice hot days here in North Carolina, but been loving the sunshine here. Now on with the "WFS".
Looking forward to going to returning to Rockingham, North Carolina at the speedway tommorow night for "FreedomFest 2006". It should be a great time tommorow and looking forward to seeing the fans there.
The WWE "Vengeance" pay per view will be taking place the next day close by in Charlotte with a pretty solid card. The match for the Intercontinental championship with Benjamin, Carlito, and Nitro I feel has all the potential to be the breakout match of the show.
Flair and Foley should be interesting with their contrast in styles and the fact that the pay-per-view is in "Flair" country.
Speaking of different sides of the coin, it doesn't get much different than Sabu vs. John Cena. Have a feeling Sabu will push Cena in their matchup.
DX vs. The Spirit Squad should provide some good action. Edge vs. RVD should really be a solid performance as well. Both I feel have really stood out this year and are potential wrestler of the year candidates. Also like the new aggresive style of Kurt Angle as I feel it has rejuvenated him. Very intense.
Monday, I am attending a benefit to help a six year old girl dianosed with sickle cell anemia and Avascular Necrosis in at Barefoot Landing, in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina from 8-10pm. On hand will be myself along with the rock band "Once Broken" http://www.myspace.com/oncebroken performing live. So if you are in the area, come on by to support a great cause.
Will be launching "Stro TV" on the internet pretty soon thanks to my friends at Mania TV http://www.maniatv.com . If you have any ideas or suggestions, feel free to email me with them. Will let you all know more once it gets closer to it's debut.

" I was in Puerto Rico wrestling back in 95'one night against "Jungle" Jim Steele back when I was known as Gorgeous George III. We were in the midst of a TV feud for the TV title then. During the match, I grabbed a banana from a fan and shoved it in his face. He then went for my spray, but I quickly grabbed it before he could rib me back. After our match was the main event tag team match where the wrestlers were "slipping on banana peels" from our match before. That night was truly "bananas". "

Fredrick from the UK
"Stro , who is one of your favorite wrestlers to have matches with?"
Stro: Have wrestled quite a few great ones over the years. One of them no doubt has to be the current WWE/ECW champion Rob Van Dam. We have had so many great matches in the past. Anywhere we went, we turned out stellar performances. Truly a pleasure to wrestle with him.
Kathy from North Carolina
"Hi Stro, who do you feel is the best female wrestler in the WWE?"
Stro: The ladies division has sparked up a lot in the WWE as of late with the additions of Mickie James, Trinity, the returning Jazz, and Beth Phoenix. Im also a fan of both Trish and Victoria's matches as well.
Jack from Ohio
"Looking forward to seeing you Stro in West Virginia in a few weeks. Big fan."
Stro: Thank you Jack! Looking forward to seeing all the West Virginia fans there the first week of July.
