Randy "Macho Man" Savage Dies In Car Accident

Tha O Show is very saddened to learn that Randy "Macho Man" Savage (born Randall Poffo) has passed away in car accident today. The first-ever inductee into Tha O Show's own Hall O Fame, Randy Savage was a wrestling superstar among superstars.

Known for his trademark gruff voice and even more impressive in-ring ability, Savage's passing is one of pro wrestling's biggest losses ever. Tha O Show was in talks with Randy's brother, Lanny Poffo to have Randy appear on an upcoming episode of "Tha O Show".

Having just interviewed Hulk Hogan, Tha O Show's top choice for next most wanted interview was Macho. Sadly, this dream will no longer be fulfilled. We will be sure to report more details of this tragedy as they become available. Randy Savage was 58.

This is such sad sad news I can't even put it to words right now. My heart goes out to the Poffo family. I would gladly take Savages place if I could.

This makes me really sad. I can not begin to tell you how many of my child hood wrestling moments have the Macho Man tied to them. I will never forget when he hit The Ultimate Warrior in the head with his staff, and broke the glass off in his head. You will be missed Macho Man! OOO YEAH!!

RIP, one of the all-time wrestling greats and certainly a favourite of mine. Sad sad day.

I really wish WWE would have put him into the hall of fame already, and/or done a real dvd that actually had him speak.

just finished listening to episode 162 the tribute to Canyon, came on site for episode 163 and read this....

I was always a Macho Hater, i'd route for anyone he was facing whether he was a "face or heel" didn't matter, and I'd say that to me this would make him one of the greatest wrestlers of all time...

You marked out for the "faces" because the "Heels" were so good!

RIP Macho Man I never liked you, but I will miss you.
