@anonymous who posted the Steiner video, let your name be known. That was legit probably one of the funniest comments I've seen on this site.

You guys keep surprising me every week with the quality of interviews with guests I seriously dont expect to be as cool as they are. Honestly there have been guests that I'm like, "Okay...this should be interesting." And it turns into this cool and fun ass interview. Good job. Everyone was in top form.

And Dan, dont worry about that wrestling chick (whose name escapes me). She'll be begging for a theme and to be on the show months from now.

Yea she might look decent but Belle is fucking shit in the ring, never have her again. Trust me i would know, get Aida Valentina if you want a hot bitch who can work from new york.

Yo, no disrespect, Dan...

But how you gonna talk about the pioneers of this thing now referred to as "horrorcore" and not mention Bushwick Bill?

i.e.- "Mind of a Lunatic"

LONG, LONG before there was Gravediggaz, Eminem, Ill Bill, Necro, etc there was the "biggest little motherfucker" Bushwick aka Chuckie. Geto Boyz for life...shame on you for not remembering the originators, guy...lol.

I hear ya...

But I don't know if I'd put Bushwick Bill and Geto Boys in the "horrorcore" category.

While some of the lyrics and imagery was graphic, I think it was more reality-based than it was about a gimmick.

I have heard Big Daddy Donnie say that boxing is dead in a few episodes now. I could not disagree more.
Firstly, top boxers still get paid waaaay more than top UFC fighters, and the gap isn’t closing anytime soon. We’re talking $500,000 compared to $10-$20 million here. The way that boxing promotion is set up is more conducive to bigger pay days for the fighters than the organizational structure of the UFC. Boxers receive big paycheques from their individual backers to make fight happen while in MMA, UFC takes the bulk of the pay and gives the guys chump change. For this reason, many young athletic men will still chose to pursue a career in boxing rather than ultimate fighting.
Secondly, Boxing has withstood the test of time while MMA’s longevity remains to be seen, and it’s already getting boring. Yes, the popularity of boxing is cyclical. We have had lulls in the sport but out of those lulls, legends have always emerged. Mani Pacquiao came at a time when Floyd Mayweather’s departure from the sport would have created a major void. Mayweather himself, came at a time when Oscar Dela Hoya’s famed career had wound down. In boxing, it only takes one or two guys to carry the sport for years. As for MMA, people are quickly learning that the sport consists of more grappling than striking, and aside from the hardcore MMA fans, most people will get bored of this sooner or later. (After all, what is the most exciting element of MMA?..the knockouts. )
I think this is a topic you guys should pursue more on the show.
Peace.
