Nickolye's TNA Sacrifice Recap

* #1 Contender's Match for TNA Tag Titles: Beer Money (Robert Roode & James Storm) vs. Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley) vs. Team 3D (Brother Ray & Brother Devon)

The action breaks out as usual - MCMG do their quick double team attacks; Team 3D hit a WHASSUP headbutt and a Doomsday Device; Beer Money do a double suplex then shout BEER, MONEY; Sabin hits a springboard clothesline; Storm stops a 3D attempt by spitting beer in Bubba's face. The finish sees MCMG hits a double team neckbreaker/missile dropkick for the win. WINNERS and new #1 contenders: MCMG.

Mike Tenay and Taz recap Desmond Wolfe and Chelsea plotting to set up Abyss.

* TNA Global Championship: Orlando Jordan vs. Rob Terry {C}

Terry is dominant from the get-go even when Jordan tried to jump him at the bell. Jordan puts Terry's leg on the top rope and kicks it then goes to work on it. The finish sees Rob Terry getting the pinfall (sorry, didn't see what happened). WINNER and STILL Global Champion: Rob Terry. Jordan clips and attacks Terry's leg post-match.

* TNA X Division Championship: Douglas Williams vs. Kazarian {C}

Kazarian and Williams have a good match with some high-flying and technical moves mixed in. Williams goes for Choas Theory but Kazarian counters with a roll-up for a near-fall. A series of counters lead to Williams powerbombing Kazarian into a corner followed by a brainbuster for a two-count. Kaz blocks Chaos Theory and drops Williams on his face for a near-fall. Williams counters an electric chair and connects with Choas Theory. WINNER and NEW X Division Championship: Douglas Williams.

Backstage, Chelsea and Desmond Wolfe bicker about their plan failing. Next, we get a promo for Tara's troubles since losing the title on Impact in a Lockbox gimmick before TNA Lockdown.

* TNA Knockouts Championship: Tara vs. Madison Rayne {C}
[The "sacrifice" stipulation is Rayne's title against Tara's career.]

The Knockouts Tag Team Champions (the rest of The Beautiful People - Velvet Sky and Lacey Von Erich) accompany Rayne to the ring but get sent to the back. Tara jumps Rayne at the bell (like everybody else does). Tara is doing her best to make Rayne look good in the ring but it's still not coming off well.

Tara connects with Widow's Peak but Madison rolls to the floor. Tara hits a top rope moonsault for a near-fall, but misses the second. Rayne pulls the back of Tara's head onto her knee for the win. WINNER and STILL Knockouts Champion: Madison Rayne.

Eric Young says that he is the best man to join Da Band because everybody else are wannabes. Kevin Nash says it's not just Hall and Nash as tag champs; they're using the Freebird Rule, meaning any two members of the crew can defend the titles. Young hands them the belts so he can go "get the beer on ice."

* TNA Tag Team Championship: Ink Inc. (Jesse Neal & Shannon Moore) vs. The Band (Kevin Nash & Scott Hall)

Moore hits the Mooregasm and takes out Hall on the floor. Neal misses the spear but hits the referee. Eric Young comes down to the ring with a kendo stick but Neal takes it away and spears Nash. Brother Ray attacks Young and scares him off. He gets in Nash's face, Neal backs him off, and Ray hits Neal in the head with the stick. Young drags Nash onto a prone Neal and the ref counts the pinfall. WINNERS and STILL TNA Tag Team Champions: The Band.

* Desmond Wolfe (w/ Chelsea) vs. Abyss
[The "sacrifice" stipulation is if Wolfe wins he gets the Hall of Fame ring that Abyss wears; if Abyss wins he gets Chelsea for 30 days - seriously.]

Abyss attacks Wolfe on his way to the ring. Abyss goes for a chokeslam and Wolfe avoids it, but he doesn't avoid a boot to the face. Wolfe quickly wrenches the arm into a DDT for a two-count. Chelsea gets on the ring apron and Abyss threatens to chokeslam her but Wolfe stops him. Abyss "Hulks up" and hits the Black Hole Slam! WINNER: Abyss.

* Mr. Anderson vs. Jeff Hardy

Anderson cuts a promo on the crowd before the match starts. Jeff Hardy hits the Swanton on Anderson. WINNER: Jeff Hardy. Anderson extends his hand for a handshake and Hardy just ignores him.

* Sting vs. Jeff Jarrett

Apparently what I'm being told in the AngryMarks chat room is that Sting won the match with the Scorpion Death Drop after working on the shoulder with the bat and stomping on it. WINNER: Sting. Jeff Jarrett gets taken away on a stretcher and Sting continues to attack him. He attacks Jarrett so much that Hulk Hogan comes down to prevent him from doing any more damage.

Backstage, Christy Hemme interviews Rob Van Dam. He talks about how he plans on defending the championship in many title defenses, says he represents the title in that he is the best, and comments on AJ Styles before finishing up by saying he himself will be champ for a long time.

* TNA World Heavyweight Championship: Rob Van Dam {C} vs. AJ Styles

A few minutes after the match is underway Ric Flair gets ejected from ringside. Here's basically how the end sequence goes - courtesy of SlickRick1987 in the chat room: RVD misses the 5-Star Frog Splash, AJ hits the Pele kick for a two-count. A Northern Lights suplex then a rollup gets a two-count.

AJ counters the Rolling Thunder, but later on misses the springboard 450 splash. Ric Flair heads back down to the ring and Jay Lethal stops him~! He slaps the figure-4 leglock on Flair on the ramp. A superplex gets countered and AJ gets hung up on the ropes, which allows RVD to hit the 5-Star Frog Splash and retain the title! WINNER and STILL TNA Heavyweight Champion: Rob Van Dam.
