Tha Raw Report

With respect to my bredren Dante Ross, I didn't title TRR this week. If I had it would have been "This Is How We Screw It (Up). What the hell happened? Before I go off on that I'd like to tell everyone to go read Andrew's latest piece, scroll down, it's about the Next Generation. That'll clue you in a little.

MVP is part of that. Last week's "Raw" did wonders to elevate him, as did the first half of this week's, that is until the conclusion of his match. He was positioned to feud with the top heel on "Raw" and arguably the top heel in the fed. Not to mention a one man hindrance on Legacy.

Forget that, now he's going to feud with Billy Regal for the United States Championship.

Consider the ball dropped. Don't get me wrong, I have the utmost respect for Regal, but in the mind's eye of 85% of the fans out there he isn't going to give MVP the rub he needs to go to the next level. In all honesty from a fans standpoint he may not even give him the rub to stay at this level.

I wish that weren't true, I wish Regal had multiple World titles under his belt, but let's face it, he doesn't and he most likely never will. I'm not saying this will ruin MVP, but it certainly isn't the stepping stone we thought he was on. Now he'll be embroiled in a mid-card feud for a mid-card belt. Earlier Monday evening, he held a mid-card belt but was on the verge of wearing it to a main event match.

Another cold hard fact about Regal, his last few feuds weren't exactly memorable, or lengthy. Jamie Noble and CM Punk come to mind. MVP should have been defending against either of the Abercrombie models directly underneath Orton. Now he's completely off that part of the radar. Hopefully he'll pop right back up on it, but realistically it'll be a while.

Honestly, was he just filler for the Orton/Shane feud for two weeks? That's retarded. Was that his reward for involving "The View" on "SmackDown" last week? That's absurd. MVP can carry the ball. As O Nation cringes upon reading the following statement, I'll stick by it. There is no reason an MVP vs. Matt Hardy WWE Championship shouldn't happen within the next year, and maybe even six months.

Remember the best feud on "SmackDown" that we'd seen in a long time? Remember maybe the best feud on "SmackDown" other than Cena/JBL ever? That was MVP and Matt Hardy carrying an understaffed roster. That was heel MVP and face Matt Hardy involving everyone. Now that the two of them are flipped a face MVP and heel Hardy would be just as good, maybe even better.

MVP did all the talking then, he could do it now. Hardy is a heel, no need to talk, just sneak attack people, or just Bob Orton the shit out of them. Have MVP voice his displeasure just once, or have him knock MVP's ass out and you've kick started that feud, and people will remember the old one. Hell they had an action figure 2-pack at the time. Remember the competitions? Neither of these guys should be wasted when that opportunity is out there.

I'm a the Brian Kendrick mark, and I'm not ashamed of that, and I think it'd be better for him to get his "Future Endeavors" letter. He went from having a nice push to being a jobber. He isn't even a glorified jobber, he's become a damn jobber and it's senseless. There is more misused true wrestling talent in the E than there is "Drizzling Shits" members. There are alot of drizzling shits out there.

Speaking of drizzling shits, I've tried to be open minded and not bash John Cena to accommodate some friends of mine. Fuck that, fuck them. He sucks. By the way I have it on great authority, actually Hammered down authority that John Cena was sprinting around the damn ring in Buffalo tonight. He's healed, miracles happen. Fuck, shoot me.

Shane McMahon got his foot crushed tonight, now if that had happened to John Cena, he'd immediately learn to use an enziguri. He'd do it that night with the foot that got crushed. Maybe the writers should have him injured more, and his damn repertoire would expand 150%. Hopefully they'll starting filming 12 Rounds in the Marine Corp soon and he'll disappear for a while. Speaking of disappearing, where did the Miz go?

While I'm thinking about it, Chavo Guerrero may be the next ECW General Manager. Just because the E wants to replace Tiffany, and they went out of their way to have Chavo make a decision tonight, unless that's just so Batista can obliterate him again next week. Who knows, hell, who cares? Tommy Dreamer is also a candidate for that job.

It's time to be positive. Santino Marella, Santino Marella, Santino Marella, Santino Marella. Also, Kelly Kelly. That segment was great. Is that a face turn for Santino or just a little comic relief? Hard to tell considering he gets pops each week but now he's bashing Public Enemy #1.

I can't stand Batista. He sucks in nearly every aspect of the game. Seriously, he's horrible, he can't talk, can't work, can't sell, can't act. To end this weeks highly opinionated and relatively one topiced "Raw" report I want some interactivity from the Nation of O. Who do you dislike more John Cena or Batista. Please explain.

Tha Results:
*Shane McMahon def. The Legacy in a 3-on-1 Handicap Match by disqualification
*Unified WWE Tag Team Champion Carlito def. The Brian Kendrick
*Ted DiBiase def. Batista by disqualification
*Mickie James def. Divas Champion Maryse in a non-title match
*Cody Rhodes def. United States Champion MVP by count-out in a non-title match
*Kofi Kingston def. Matt Hardy
*WWE Champion Randy Orton vs. Shane McMahon ended in a no-contest

Randy Orton is the George W. Bush of wrestling. I don't know how he got to where he is, I just know I don't want him there. His promos and facial expressions make about as much sense as well. "Batista - your judgment day is coming." = "You're either with us, or you're with the terrorists."

Dude, what matches were there?! Hahaha! I feel you on the MVP/Hardy feud. Now that their roles are reversed it will be even better.

Okay. I read the reviews of the show and I'll catch it at some point. Not dying to see it.

I dislike cena more, he is trying to say he is no like the rock but he is becoming worse and tryin to be a movie star and az wrestler. At least the rock understood you can only be one at a time so he left the fed. Batista atleast is attempting to get better and do what he has to do to stay loyal to the company.

o and i was at the smackdown taping last week in madison square garden which was tuesday only 2 days after backlash and cena was in the the dark match after the show competing fine so that is another reason, atleast hhh is selling the kick.

Batista. Hands down. At least Cena tries every now and then but Batista just stays the same. And also cause a 6'2" 200 and some odd pound black chick can do his finisher better than he can.

I'll have to take Cena. Even though I hate his no selling ass, the man can be entertaining with a mic scripted or not.

Second he gets a pop from the marks and X-Pac heat from the smarks which I suppose is better than getting no reaction at all.
Batista is just plain boring.

Am i the only one digging The Miz's Promos on Cena? I think Miz gargles Donkey Jizz, but The Guy has entertained the shit outta me the last two weeks on the mic and he's actually getting his character over. Now i'm no fan of his in ring work, but if he's serious about improving,he just might be one of the young guys who can reach that next level.

And could someone please explain to me how in a one on one match between The WWE Champion and a Non-Worker,the Non Worker carries the majority of the offense while The Champion need help to beat down The Non-Worker? That shit is RIDICULOUS! I could see if he was wrestling Batista or HHH,but what sense does it make that one on one,Orton can't kick Shane McMahon's Ass? Weak,Stupid Booking! Legacy looks like a fucking joke, when All 3 of them run from Batista and two of them can barely handle Shane! WTF???

In honor of the band Slipknot with a slight change the title of one of their better songs (imho) is People=Shit. In this case those people are Cena and Batista. It's impossible to pick one worse than the other. You think about the positives for one guy, it makes you think of the negatives for the other, which in turn brings you right back to the others negatives. Here's the one that got me:

Cena is a good mic man, Batista is a horrible mic man, Cena actually isn't that great on the mic because 85% of the time it sounds forced like a motherfucker. Fuck both of them.
