Wow. That's all I can really say. I know more than one person right now who are not okay. There is a list of people on suicide watch and I'm one of them. Cena as a champ, Batista is back and UNC won the national championship. This was truly Black Monday.My major problem with it was the clustered nature of the entire "Raw" show. Two ten person matches in one show? This isn't Survivor Series. Sunday night was WrestleMania for God's sake! Twenty people in two matches, and there was really no reason for them.
We didn't get the Unification match on PPV Sunday night, but we got the rematch on "Raw" last night. It was lumberjack too. I can't name all the lumberjacks or anything, but is there anyone on the roster who didn't get involved? It's nice to know some people aren't forgotten, but it's also nice not to have an entire show clusterfudged all to hell.
With the women's match, can someone explain to me why Nattie had to eat the pinfall? Were Maria and Eve not better candidates to lose for that team? Gail Kim, Nattie and Maryse should have all been able to save face in that match. I get that "Raw" is the superior brand, or will be again after the draft for a month or two. By the way, I think we should take bets on how long it is before rosters cross over again. Anybody down?
Now the ten man tag team match was great for one reason. Ricky Steamboat. I'm sure people will start to get tired of us praising the Dragon. Suck one. Steamboat is the man. I'd love to see more of Ricky, but only as long as he can take it. I honestly would rather have the memories than have him do serious damage. Long live the Dragon.
Ms. WrestleMania Santina Marella is awesome. She isn't hot, but she's almost as entertaining as her twin brother Santino. Seriously though, I challenge anyone to name, right now at this instant in the E a better entertainer. Much love to anyone who stands in the ring with that dude and maintains a straight face.
I know he probably wouldn't trade his spot for anything, and I don't blame him, but I would love to see him take it to another level and win and run with a belt for a substantial amount of time. Bring back the Honk-A-Meter and at least let it get close. Make him insufferable, that's when he'd be at his best.
Randy Orton is such a great heel. You know the problem though? They're putting him against a guy that people get sick of cheering. Someone commented that having Orton go up against Triple H made the people cheer Hunter. Really? I could have sworn I heard R.K.O. chants at 'Mania, if not at 'Mania, most definitely at "Raw."
No matter the crowd reaction, Orton is at its purest, a heel. If not for Legacy I would be so pro to a group with Orton and Jericho involved. Take those two and mix in two up and comers or a tag team, and you've got an uber heel faction. Wait, there are two guys that could happen with. Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes. Holy shit. It could happen with the snap of the fingers.
Sure that grouping would trounce the Legacy thing since Jericho isn't second-gen, but really, what storylines in wrestling stay true to their original concept? Hell, they kicked out enough second generation guys to have another stable and there are enough in developmental, or just sitting at home.
Trust me, I know that isn't going to happen, and it really isn't even a possibility, it's just something that sounds good in my head and doesn't look bad on paper, or screen, but it would probably turn to steaming, stinking pile of shit on TV. I do think Legacy needs someone else or something else. Why not Nattie? Bring her over and have her go all dominant on the "Raw" divas.
Vince is back, and tonight, he brought back the old badass Vince. No heelish puss-out. Just Vince dressed in black throwing slaps and punches. That didn't bother me at all. What bothered me was the "aftermath" if you can call it that of the match between he and Orton.
Batista is back. Crickets. The reaction in the arena wasn't bad, and I've come to expect that. Bruno Davis wrote a great article that sorta sums up the whole Batista/Cena thing. But really, Batista's isn't simple. It's just bad. Big Dave stated that he had one good year left in him.
My thing, I guess it's a pondering, a musing maybe, but will that be one full year, or a combined year on TV in between injuries? I mean with Batista, that could actually take five to seven years from now with combined time. Holy hell, I just realized, Batista was the "big thing" for "Raw" after WrestleMania. Give them something to make the bleeding stop.
I could go on a rant here about politics killing wrestling, but I won't. Just that mention, I promise. It's time to hear what you think, that's what I want to know. From 7 PM EST on Sunday night until 11:04 EST Monday night, give WWE a grade, a report card or just a good old fashioned blasting.

The Heels done it with ease and poise last night just as they did the entire tournament. They took Mich St out of the game mentally within the first 5 minutes and fuck Skip Bayless for not giving them credit. Roy and the boys earned this championship and I thank them for giving their fans a great season and a great tournament showing.

Unlike most of the people here I enjoyed Wrestlemania 25 without over analyzing and crying about John Cena. A big Mania Party, with quality food and liquor, a few local workers with plenty chops to hand out, women that actually enjoy wrestling instead of being twats about it, no tag-alongs touting how much better MMA is; all-in-all a great crowd. Find/Create a better venue and allow yourself to enjoy something every now and then. If there is one day out of the year to let go and markout it's during Mania.
If you can't do that go to an indy show next year, call it Anti-Mania Fest.
As for yesterdays post, I'd say the Beatles (pre-Revolver) would be better compared to Hulk Hogan as he was simple but he was the first of his kind. Cena is more of a Limp Bizkit fresh and edgy at first, after that wore off he became a warm glass of milk.
Raw was entertaining last night as well, there couldn't be much mid card development with the draft coming next week so they put on some "showcase" matches, understood.
Orton cut a great promo, and Vince was entertaining as hell. What's the deal with Shane? Hmm
If WWE wants their film division to create some revenue, how about saving some money on explosions and all that crap and make a comedy. Santino/a's dialog is free.
