D'Lo Brown Signs With WWE

WWE.com is reporting that that former Intercontinental and European Champion D-Lo Brown has signed a new Superstar contract with World Wrestling Entertainment. Since departing WWE, Brown had wrestled on the indy scene as well as in TNA Wrestling and All Japan Pro Wrestling.

D’Lo Brown, real name Accie “A.C.” Connor got his start with WWE in 1997 as a member of the Nation of Domination, and his initial run with the company lasted through early 2003.

Under the management of Theodore R. Long started the “Down with the brown” gimmick, and D'Lo was a part of Long’s “Thuggin and buggin" Enterprises, and had an undefeated run during that time.

He made several appearances for TNA during it’s PPV days, and then worked in Japan for All Japan Pro Wrestling, and several other independent promotions.
In August 13, 2007, while not contracted with the WWE he wrestled a dark match and defeated Ryan O’Reilly. He defeated Jay Bradley in a dark match at the “SmackDown” tapings the following night.

Brown is a former four time European, one time Intercontinental champion, and a Euro-continental champion.

I think D'Lo can be one helluva teacher for the guys that need teaching. Something tells me that he may step into a role much like Finlay's role. At his age, he may be able to translate it into a championship push, and a good run. Best of luck to D'Lo this time around.

Great news, use him to boost the midcard on Smackdown. Play up his history and use him a challenger for Matt Hardy or let him main event on ECW.

Its about damn time!!....this guys has been out there doing his thing for a minute....i know WWE is always looking for veterans to add to there depleting name value roster....and this is a great addition becauser while he is a bit old school and reminiscent of the attitude days....he still has a lot left in the tank (did u see him in TNA....he was off da chain!!) and he's a familiar face.....I agree ....he should be put on the smackdown mid-carder and feud with Matt Hardy for the U.S Title that would be dope.....and this would clear the void that MVP would have left if he goes to RAW (which I hope he does).

Great news, I can't wait to see D'Lo in the ring. He's a guy that doesn't even need to go to FCW to train, or teach those guys, there are enough guys on the main roster that can use the seasoning.

djb may have repeated Donnie, but Donnie isn't the only one who feels that way, that's something that bares repeating because I agree, and I'm sure most everyone else agrees too.
