Friend and former guest of Tha O Show Chris Kanyon officially announced yesterday on his Myspace page that he was retiring from professional wrestling. Kanyon retired on the 15th anniversary of his first wrestling match when he made his debut on April 5, 1992 in Levittown, NY.
Kanyon also made an interesting announcement pertaining to his future after wrestling.
"I will be back on Howard Stern's Sirius Satellite Radio Show on Wed. April 11 (probably about 7 am est.) talking about some of my future plans which do involve me staying in the public's eye and one venture which potentially could make me more well known than Pro Wrestling ever could have."
If you would like to send Chris a message follow the link below to his Myspace page.
All of us here at Tha O Show wish Chris the best of luck on his new life after wrestling.

Chris could be teasing an entrance into MMA like he mentioned on Tha O Show radio program
Why don't you guys get him on the air to discuss it?
This is very sad they dont make em like him anymore
Jim J, he said he wanted to announce it on Stern. That was the whole deal. After he announces it to Howard I'd love to see him or hear him back on Tha Show.
I actually got to see Kanyon in During wrestlemania in Hooters in roswell, GA, and he was just there enjoying the show with us and he just cut his hair off!!....he was there for the Rumble too and seems to truly love pro-wrestling, he says he keeps in touch with a lot of the guys including Kidman, Gregory Helms and Edge...he truly was a great worker and it sucks that WWE never gave him a decent push.
