It's no secret that TNA has straight-up fallen off as of late. Vince Russo's patented Crash TV has the southern company spiraling right into a tailspin despite having great talent who should be able to put on big time money matches.As if that wasn't bad enough, TNA's new idea easily makes Crash TV the lesser of two evils. In fact, it's so bad that it's even got Russo saying it's awful. Self-dubbed as "Dixie Carter's Cram TV", the name pretty much explains it all.
The concept of Cram TV is TNA's weakass way of solving the problem of too much talent and not enough time. Instead of managing their time better to develop storylines between their star talent and money feuds, they're going to shove everybody into the one-hour time slot. In otherwords, you're going to see 3-minute segments featuring everybody on the roster instead of having long, meaningful vignettes promoting the main events at pay-per-views.
Personally, I think the idea sucks. I'd rather see a 10-minute long Samoa Joe/Christian Cage segment than see a 2-minute one on top of watching Bob Backlund stare down Jeremy Borash or Raven cane his new "followers" in what I consider the worst gimmick in wrestling today.
I am now going to make this a double article by giving a proper solution to this. Since fantasy "iMPACT!" booking seems to be all the rage these days, I'm going to give in to peer pressure.
Instead of Crash/Cram TV, let Cage and Joe take up 10 minutes or so each week. The bottom line about these two is that they're going to be flagship main eventers for a long time to come, and this match has money written all over it if done properly. And quite frankly, so far this is the only match at Destination X that I am excited about.
Steiner vs. Angle I don't care about. Both are past their prime, Steiner far moreso than Angle. With both in their prime, this would be an interesting match, but now, not so much. Abyss vs. Sting will mark the 5th straight pay-per-view that these two have faced off. My only hope for this match is that the fact that it is a Last Rites match somehow denotes that Christopher Daniels will re-emerge in the match.
Here's money right here-
Daniels interferes in the Abyss/Sting match, hitting both competitors with his finisher, The Last Rites. The match will obviously end in a no contest, but by this point, I doubt anyone really cares. The following "iMPACT!", Daniels comes out claiming that he has found his new purpose; winning the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. He calls out new champion Samoa Joe (yes, I know that several months back I said it was a good idea to make him pay his dues for a while before giving him the title, but he certainly is no slouch like certain WWE wrestlers who got pushed to the title in 2005 and deserves it). Bam. Instant classic feud.
Keep each "iMPACT!" to 3-4 storylines per week. Alternate micard/curtain jerker storylines each week, with one or two main storylines featured every week. Build the storylines for a while instead of making "instant gratification" pay-per-view matches that leads to match after match after match at sequential pay-per-views. And for God's sake, put some damn wrestling in the mix! Have matches actually end with a winner instead of pointless run-ins disrupting the match. Throw tag team wrestling back into the mix by having VKM and the soon-to-debut Basham Brothers vie for the title. Get rid of the "BabyHeel" thing; clearly define your faces and heels.
This is how to make "iMPACT!" a successful show. Forget Crash TV, forget Cram TV. TNA needs O TV. Join me in petitioning TNA, demanding O TV. Together, I'm sure all the O-sters can build off of my springboard and come up with creative writing that can leave Russo and Dixie's horrific ideas in the dust.

Wow, Dixie Carter, while a milf, is apparently a moron. I remember reading that a while back and thinking/hoping it was a joke. The basis of this is that their talent is paid per tv appearance, so instead of restructuring the payoff, they have decided to fuck up the company. EXCELLENT.
Elix Skipper has been underutilized anytime that he hasn't been involved in a Triple X storyline. Quite honestly, he's better off without TNA. He'll be free to work more indy shows, and has the fact that he was a tag team champion in TNA to put on his resume, which will probably cause him to get more money per appearance. Not a whole lot more, but more nonetheless.
Its amazing how we're probably going to see that spot where Skipper walked across the top of the cage and landed a hurnacanrana for as long as TNA is in existence.
And yet, he's gone.
b/c he's been such a forgotten tv character over the last year, he's going to need to work hard to get recognized as an indy star.
Whats up with the Shelton hate Ben? Shelton is probably the 2nd best athelete in E, and to his credit for all the crazy shit he does, he doesn't botch that many spots. And while it was a big spot, I wouldnt go as far to say it was major. Had he not botched it the match would have probably continued longer, but I don't think that the move would have been a huge part of that match.
What is amazing though is that 2 of the most underrated guys in the E are in the same damn tag team, the WGTT.

You guys make it seem like TNA is God Awful...it hasn't been gold latley but do you remember when Jeff Jarrett was wearing the strap and about 90% of the show revolved around him? Christian Cage is doing a hellava job as champ...letting his coronies take care of his dirty work instead of standing in the back like with "Planet Jarrett." I wish you all would show the (or should i say tha) same passion you do after a good impact, that you do after a lousy one.

Read some of my past articles. When I first started writing for Tha Show, I praised TNA like there was no tomorrow because I thought their product was truly great. Christian needs to stop being surrounded by flunkies though...after how long of his career he spent tag-teaming or in a faction, there's a huge stigma there.
