Standing O-vation

In what can only be described as an early match of the year candidate for Ontario independent wrestling, Don Paysan defeated five other men in the Suicide Six-Pack at the Blood Sweat and Ears show at Humber College yesterday.

All six men were given a standing ovation by the appreciative audience following Paysan's win as he retained the Six-Pack Championship.

The blizzard that crippled most of Chicago and other parts of the United States prevented Samoa Joe and Christopher Daniels from competing in the main event, but the fans were treated to a special surprise.

In an impromptu No Disqualification match, Robert Roode and James Champagne competed against Tyson Dux and El Tornado. Roode proved once again that he is among the most under-utilized assets in TNA, as he was outstanding. Very often fans are prone to cheer for TNA stars, but Roode played a textbook heel and proved he is one of the best bad-guys in wrestling today. Dux and Tornado came out on top in a very physical match.

Tha O Show's resident diva, Miss Danyah competed against Tiana Ringer, Kelly Couture (no relation to Randy) and 21st Century Fox in a tremendous four-way women's match. Unfortunately for our girl, Danyah came out on the losing end to Kelly Couture but a great performance nonetheless.

In other action:

Joe Doring beat Sebastian Suave (remember this name, fantastic young talent)

The All Starters beat Flesh and Vlad The Penetrator

The Blackouts defeated The Revo-Luchas

Don Paysan retained the Six-Pack Championship over Bang Bang Pete, Cody 45, Xtremo, Anton Arakis and Kris Chambers

Dux and Tornado beat Robert Roode and James Champagne.

I was there last night sitting behind Danny O and Big Daddy Donnie.

I liked the six pack but I hate Dancing Pete. He's shit.

Bobby Roode is the man but how come a street fight didnt fight outside the ring and had no blood?

They shoulda tried everything to make up for Samoa Joe and Fallen Angel.

The match with that Tiger mask kid whatever his name was was scary. He looked like he broke his neck on the shooting star.

just to clear up any confusion;

Dave is doing fine and was not injured at BSE yesterday. Fans who were there saw Dave sell a "ref bump" near the end of the match, but was not injured in the spot.

Paysan is really good and should get a shot at TNA. But you can say the same for 10 other guys on the scene right now inclusing Ash, Matt Burns, Horntet, and Michael Elgin.

Paysan and Tony Mamaluke would make an awesome team in ROH.
