Thursday's Thoughts
- ok so it's Friday, kiss my ass!

Ok, so for the first time ever, I'm publishing a belated edition of Thursday's Thoughts. I was out of town all week with my family visiting our nation's capital. I got back to see Tha O Show traffic was booming, Dan-e-o had pledged his love to Layla and Watch-Wrestling was writing articles for us. Hey, it's good to be back.

I thought about writing an article today dedicated entirely to Vince McMahon. The headline would have read “SICK BASTARD”. The new McMahons DVD actually features commentary from Stephanie where she admits that she Vince really wanted to do an incest angle, with his own daughter.

Vince thought great TV would be him revealing to the WWE audience that he was in fact the father of Aurora Rose. How depraved do you have to be to even suggest something like that to your own flesh and blood daughter? This isn't someone 'playing' the role of his daughter – this is the little girl he watched come into the world. The one who's diapers he changed and who's scrapes he cleaned. Had Steph approved the angle, would it actually make for a better broadcast? Would it boost the ratings at all? Could it potentially damage the ratings? As the father of a gorgeous baby girl, I can tell you this man is twisted.

Word has it that a lot of the major talent in TNA is very unhappy. Monty Brown reportedly “quit” TNA the night of the Hard Justice pay per view, only to be convinced to stay by Terry Taylor. Rhino is apparently very upset with his spot as well. It's no secret Samoa Joe recently had a major shouting match with TNA booker Scott D'Amore, and now most recently – Ron “The Truth Killings, a two time NWA world champion, has asked for his full release.

Killings, Dan-e-o's least favourite TNA wrestler, is pissed off that despite the pops and reactions to his feuds, he is treading water. There seems to be interest from the WWE in Killings. Johnny Ace has apparently pitched the idea of rehiring Brian Lawler and Rikishi and reuniting Too Cool with Scotty Too Hotty. The idea would then be to add Killings and his lame ass dancing to that crew. Ricky Steamboat is a WWE agent and a major backer of Killings, and has suggested that if he were to become available they should snap him up. That being said, it's entirely possible Terry Taylor will smooth everything over with Ron.

X-Division champion Senshi is taking a ton of heat backstage right now for knocking the crap out of Jay Lethal last Sunday at Hard Justice. Lethal botched a spot and Senshi beat him to near unconsciousness.

As if the morale isn't bad enough in TNA – it seems Sting is getting a rematch for the World title at Bound For Glory. Oy.

Senshi's not the only one with heat right now. Kurt Angle has apparently pissed people off for becoming the new Triple H of ECW. Not only is he being allowed to have way too much say in his role, he's having it with people / angles that don't involve him in the least. Angle is a favorite of management and will likely stay that way. Expect Kurt to somehow be figured into the ECW World Title Match at Summerslam on Sunday.

A Summerlsam preview article will be up on Tha O Show soon!

According to WWE.com Arn Anderson has been helping Candice Michelle with her training. That's like Einstein trying to teach long division to a chimpanzee. That may actually not be fair to the chimp.

Speaking of Divas, Dan-e-o's girl Layla is the diva search winner. Check her out on myspace if you're so inclined. http://www.myspace.com/laylainc

The WWE is spending a lot of time in court as of late fighting copyright infringement. They have opposed the trademark filed by Jayceon Taylor (known to the hip hop world as The Game). They have also opposed Christian Cage (Jay Reso's) copyright of Captain Charisma, saying Reso signed away rights to all intellectual property created while a member of the WWE roster. Join me all in a collective Fuck you to Vinnie Mac and his lawyers.

For once, i'm at a loss of words...well, to an extent at least.

Hell no it would! The way I see it, an incest angle in the WWE would've been disasterous. If it had taken place on Raw (which airs on USA as we know), NBC Universal would no doubt be down Vince's throat about it. If not for the content, but because of the low ratings something like that would bring in. It would definetly turn me off to watching Raw for the entirety of the angle. It wouldn't matter if it was a segment that always led off the telecast, J.R. & Lawler would be talking about it for the next two hours. And as a father to a soon to be three year old daughter, it would tear at me to even watch it. As much as I rag on Steph for her antics with the creative side of things, i'm glad to say that i'm happy and proud that she shot down the idea. So with that said, I got three words....fuck you Vince.

There is no earthly way "Double A" Arn Anderson can do all he can to make Candice Michelle a better wrestler. Wait, i'll do you one better. There's no earthly way all of the members of any version of the Four Horsemen could teach Candice Michelle to wrestle. It's pointless and why it's not fair to the chimp I don't know. I thought it wasn't fair to Arn.

While i'm on the subject of divas...why does Lita have the Women's title? She's almost as sloppy as Khali is and hasn't actively wrestled in God knows how long. Unless her reign as champ is legit, creative needs to find a way to make this transitional. Damn, give the belt to Trish before she leaves. She's only the what, six time Women's champ? Wait...why am I complaining about the women's strap? It's not like it's considered a major belt or is defended at every possible chance. Besides, there's only one real legit wrestler in the Women's division, and her name is Victoria. Give it to her, she effin deserves it.

I guess if someone makes any mention, referrence, or uses any part of a WWE talent's moniker (un-intentionally), that Vince is sending his legal department after them. I don't see why he's fighting Jayceon Taylor for the rights to use "The Game". I'm pretty sure that Taylor has been in the rap business longer than the big "E" has been calling Triple H "The Game". I also don't see how they're contesting the use of "Captain Charisma". Sure it was started in the WWE, but so was a lot of things now that Vince owns 95% of the wrestling industry (if you want to look at it that way). If that's the case, then I guess it won't be long until Vince sets his sights on the new AWA. Last time I checked, he owned the rights to that as well.

Kurt Angle having heat in the locker room is retarded. Along with Chris Benoit, the Undertaker, and Steve Austin to name a few, Kurt has earned everything he's gotten and/or asked for in the WWE. It's not like Kurt having way too much say in his role has a negative effect on the ECW product. If anything, Kurt being on ECW programming and house shows helps out a lot. I'm waiting for a CM Punk/Kurt Angle match. With Punk's ability and Angle's greatness, that'd make for one hell of a match.

Ron Killings "possibly" going back to the WWE won't have as much impact as everyone thinks it will. He'll be a midcarder just like he was the first time around. His leaving TNA however, will have a little bit of a greater impact though.

I don't see why Rhino is complaining about his spot in TNA. Shit, he got a title run not long after his debut with the company. If I was Rhino, I wouldn't be complaining. But management there might to watch out for flying flower pots. I hear he has a knack for throwing those things around.

Monty Brown is another name that fits the "Rhino situation". Brown was supposed to have a world title run last year, but according to reports at that time, he didn't want it because he felt that he "wasn't ready" for it. If I was Brown, the moment management came to me to tell me that i'm getting a title run, you can damn well bet i'd take it. No ifs, ands, or buts. Brown put himself in this position, nobody else. As the Rock would say, "Know your role, and shut your damn mouth". Monty should take those words to heart.

Samoa Joe complaining...ehh. When you take into consideration where he's at in the company, he gets about the same level of push that most of TNA's top tier wrestlers get, just stopping shy of Sting, Jarrett, Styles, and Daniels.

I didn't get to see Senshi trying his best imitation of Perry Saturn this past Sunday during three way, but from what i've read, it was pretty brutal. Let's just be glad that it wasn't actually Saturn beating on Lethal. Saturn going ballistic on some jobber still ranks very high on my top 10 moments of people going apeshit when someone botched a spot and/or started to shoot during a match.

Sting getting another shot at the world title? That's one thing I didn't see coming (note the heavy use of sarcasm). I have one question about the world title, well, actually a few. When are Raven and Christian getting rematches? The other question...Why hasn't Samoa Joe gotten a world title push yet? Look on the bright side. Only four more months until Stink's, I mean Sting's contract is up.

I believe that does it for this week. I'd go into detail about the week that was in the world of MMA, but i'm waiting for UFC 62 to come and go until I get nuts deep into that can of worms. Oh yeah...I put a new piece up on the forum regarding Brock Lesnar's involvement in MMA (plug plug plug).

Almost forgot, welcome back BigDaddy. Now there's someone else to do articles about something other than Layla on here. Hahahaha! (I said that you weren't out of the woods yet Dan-e-o).

Take it easy everybody.
