The following is a news bulletin courtesy of Brian Alvarez and Figure Four Weekly:Just days after many expected him to be crowned the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion at Wrestlemania 22, Randy Orton has been suspended for a month.
This suspension appears to have nothing to do with the WWE's drug testing or their Wellness Program. It seems that ever since Kurt Angle came to Smackdown in January, Orton has had behavioural issues. Apparently there have been a number of issues that were kept fairly quiet within the company.
The last straw may have been Wrestlemania weekend when he blatantly defied the WWE's dress code. Rumor has it that Orton has been quite the heat seeker of late.
The suspension sounds like it will be for a solid month of tv tapings and house shows, and goes into effect April 12th.
It is expected that the WWE will run an injury angle with Angle on Smackdown as a way to keep Orton off TV in the storylines.
