Have to disagree with the Patriotism comment. I think a lot of it comes from "U-S-A" just being a much more simple chant than others. If you look at UFC's that happen in Canada or the UK, the home country fighers are pretty much always cheered over a foreign fighter. It is not like this nearly as often in USA.
