Moment of Tha Year - Monday January 4th (I can't remember the last time I was more excited for a night of wrestling.)
Breakout of Tha Year - This is the toughest, most competitive category, I think. Wade Barrett.
Show of Tha Year - WrestleMania, because of Shawn-Taker.

Does that need explaining? Orton was at one point the most over guy in the company for a reason. (I say at one point because Cena's latest little stint has pushed him into a huge reaction just like before)

Other one that needs little explanation. Not as good as the WM25 match, but still a 5-star match.

The only feud that made me care. It mattered. These guys made a random impact, it felt fresh in some odd way.

Without a doubt my favorite moment. The ring being torn apart was outstanding to see on a fed show.

He's over. I'd love to say someone else, but Wade Barrett is just over. He has work, but I can see him doing big things.

I'd really love to say Mania, but the show was bad as a whole. One match won't make me love a PPV. It's a shame it took TNA but this felt like an ECW reunion done right. The EV2.0 thing went on WAY too long, but the Pay Per View was amazing.

Tag Team Of Tha Year = MCMG, 2 excellent fueds with Beer Money and Gen Me, and get the best match out of the Dudleys in years.
Women's Wrestler Of Tha Year = Nattie Niedhart, although i'm always happy watching Layla!

I think the ROH stuff is bang-on too. Dante, Generico-Steen has been a great feud, that looks like it's going to be blown off at Final Battle. Have a prediction?
I'd say Generico will win because I don't think he's going anywhere, and I can't picture him working without the mask. In ROH, stips matter ... so this will be an interesting climax to a great feud.
I'm really starting to get into ROH -- I really want to be invested in a wrestling product, and it's nearly impossible to do with WWE and TNA.
And TWK - You could definitely make the argument that, top to bottom, Death Before Dishonour was the show of the year. But to me, anything that has HBK's last match has to be in there, especially as good as it was, with the drama, etc.
Related: would anyone be disappointed if HBK came back for one more match?
They already have Generico talking a tiny bit so his character is already evolving and not being shit on. I say Steen wins this one. Here's a cool video hyping their feud perfectly.

If I wasn't going up north for the weekend, where's there' no interent access, then I'd definitely be getting the show. That's a lot of bang for your buck at 14.99.
As for HBK ... I suppose I'd be disappointed if he wrestled again. But at the same time, selfishly, I'd love to see another Shawn Michaels match. I wouldn't blame him for getting another Mania payday, either.
It think he'll have another match somewhere down the line. Supposedly he's posting a video on Friday on his twitter page regarding his future with WWE (doubt it has anything to do with having another match, but still interesting).
