Words From Stro - "Holiday Special"

Hello to to you all! Hope everyone is having a great week. Raining off and on here on the east coast this week. Time once again for another edition of the "WFS". So let's get started.

Thought the DX/McMahon parody on RAW this week was very entertaining. In my opinion, the high entertainment factor is what made that show with past episodes with the likes of Foley, The Rock, Steve Austin, The Hurricane, etc.

Carlito continues to be one of the MVP's for that brand. His match with Shelton Benjamin and Johnny Nitro was definitely one of the highlights of this past Sunday's "Vengeance" pay per view. So much potential as I see big things in the future for him.

Great to see Trish back in the ring again since her injury. Mickie James continues her reign as WWE Women's champion. It has been a pleasure to watch her progress since meeting her a few years back in North Carolina. Would be nice to see her expand her defenses with the other two brands as she has somewhat done so with her defense against ECW's Jazz.

Speaking of ECW, great main event this week with Rob Van Dam and Kurt Angle. Sabu since returning has looked sharp in his matches with Cena, Rey Mysterio, etc..

Had a good match with Cham Pain over the weekend in Rockingham at the speedway for "Freedomfest 2006" . Was good to see all the Rockingham fans there, the bands, car shows, and some of my old friends in the lockerroom there. Thanks goes out to Rusty and Jason K. for having me there this year and for making it possible.

" Years ago in the Pacific Northwest territory, there was a batman-like wrestler set to debut as "Matman". The night of his debut, Al Madril was being interviewed when "Matman" goes to jump on the table. But he loses his balance and slips and falls on the floor. Laughter from the crowd erupts as Al and the ring announcer look at each other. The ring announcer then puts the microphone down to the mysterious cape crusader and asks "Who are you?" to which the masked man replied "I am Matman, tell all your friends!". Later on that night, Matman has his big debut match. He slams his opponent and climbs to the top to give a big splash. But when he went to extend his hands, one of his hands hit one of the wires connected to the lights. Sparks flew and the lights went out. When the lights came back on, Matman nosed dived off the top rope to the mat, missing his opponent by a good distance and knocking himself out. The referee didn't know what to do, so he then dragged Matman over on top of his opponent and counted one ..two.. three. So that was the debut and the retiring of "Matman". "
