Back Again from Hiatus...Random Dissing from Dan-e-o

The last time I took a hiatus from Tha "O" Show, I didn't actually mean to. It just so happened that a full month had passed between my articles and I realized it had a lot to do with how shitty the wrestling product was at the time. Here I am again, realizing that I haven't written an "O" Show article since I praised the "One Night Stand" pay-per-view on June 12th. Well, what else is new? The product has been shitty over the past month and while I wish I was O-ing more often...I've been saying "O shit, that was stupid", a whole lot lately.

I don't know where to begin. But here goes....

What the hell was really up with that "skully" scene from "Raw" last week? Skully, you know...as in "head"...as in oral sex. Yeah, that's what my boys and I have been calling it since we were kids. And somehow, WWE thought it'd be fun to have Triple H and Candice Michelle pretend as if they were receiving skully from beneath a table during a skit on "Raw" last week. Hunter and Candice were clearly still wearing pants/shorts during the scene...and it wasn't even that funny.

I've always been down for comedy during a wrestling show. But having my intelligence insulted is a whole other thing. The DX skits are becoming brutal...not only because of how blatantly fake and over the top they are...but because they don't do much to further any decent storyline. The only feud happening with them right now involves constant 5 on 2 matches with the Spirit Squad. And this sure as hell isn't putting the male cheerleaders over...as they get their asses handed to them on a weekly basis. So if helping new talent grow is not on the agenda, what is DX really back for?

Aiight, let me just leave that alone for now...

The RVD/Sabu thing. If it's one thing I hate in professional wrestling...it's when the company itself (in this case...and almost every case, WWE) TELLS us that it's product is fake. If RVD and Sabu were arrested on drug charges...just say so! OR (big O-R) create a storyline to explain their impending absences from TV. BUT DON'T DO BOTH!! How dumb is it that WWE.com will report that the two superstars were arrested and suspended in accordance with their "Wellness Policy" but on television, RVD was "screwed" out of his TWO titles one day after the other? Are we, as viewers and loyal fans, supposed to simply view this as coincidence? C'mon man.

Okay, what else?...

If "SmackDown!" wants to have a battle royal to determine Rey Mysterio's challenger for the World Title at "The Great American Bash", why was it full of cruiserweights as opposed to legitimate number one contenders? Not that I'm a fan of any of the following, but why no Mark Henry, Great Khali or Batista? There are much more creative and believable ways to start up a storyline...the writers, lately, have been plain lazy and downright stupid. Glad Booker's getting a shot though...although my boy will probably not get the strap he deserves.

Anyway, on a positive note...be sure to check out this September's pay-per-view, "Unforgiven" live from Air Canada Centre in Toronto. Already scheduled are Tha "O" Show's Dan-e-o and Big Daddy Donnie in the front row! Apologies to the suckers at Scarborough Town Centre's Sunrise Records Saturday morning who lost out in the draw for head-of-the-line. Ha! Ha! (a la Armondo Alejandro Estrada). Ringside bitch!!

Damn! There's been wrestling going on since the One Night Stand ppv? I missed the memo on that one.

Watch-Wrestling.com ..... Dan-e-o is one of the truest and most loyal WWE fans on the planet. He has blindly supported them and even made excuses for them when they were churning out crap.

For him to write an article about the ammount of crap that is out right now, shows he has been truly disenchanted.

That should scare the WWE creative dept. Turning off your most HARDCORE fans? Awful.

You have clearly taken on the role of WWE Appologist... which is ok - we've ALL BEEN THERE ... but I'm guessing you're quite a bit younger than us and haven't had to endure quite as much frustration with the product.

Hey Joe, bring a sign to Unforgiven that says ThaOShow.com and i'll give you a free WWWE DVD.

Right now I've got sealed copies of Benoit, Foley, Austin and Superstar.

DX was not a group that just pulled pranks and acted like a bunch of frat boys... they had that, but they were also a feared stable.

Plus, lets keep in mind, Hunter is now 37 and Shawn has passed 40. These aren't a couple of kids anymore....

X-Factor,

I agree...I want to be entertained. But the concept of professional wrestling is to suspend your belief and pretend what you're watching is real. Actually, this is the point of ANY fictional entertainment. Knowing full well that Hunter and Candice were still fully clothed, made that particular seen very UN-entertaining. It was plain stupid.

watch-wrestling.com,

We're glad you're an "O" Show fan. Feel free to argue with us all the time, that's what true wrestling heads do: Discuss the product...the good and bad. We appreciate all of your comments bro. And trust me, we wouldn't be doing this if we didn't LOVE wrestling.

Im pretty negative on WWE lately as the previous poster said so Im going to write things I like about WWE:

1. Carlito comes to mind. Perfect balance of Gimmick, Charisma, and Wrestling ability (i remember a day when for the life of me i didnt think he had a finishing maneuver)

2. Ric Flair. Sure dump on me for liking a 60-something year old legend. But damnit, how many of you will be able to be backdropped onto tacks at that age? The point is, he's still the man.

3. HHH. I hate him. We all hated him. He doesnt put guys over. He's always got the belt, and he loses it to all the wrong guys. But he's the best on the mic, he's a throwback to a generation of wrestling long gone, and he's probably the most LEGIT wrestlers today.

4. Kurt Angle may be more legit than HHH, a hall of famer in the making. This guy adds entertainment, class, and style, to any promotion. He's on my list of BEST WRESTLERS EVER.

5. umm.... nice video packages?

6. I dont care what you guys think, I love mysterio. Sure his title defense is boring, but he's injured very badly and on a disinteresting show. what can you expect from him? Ive been pulling for him to win the world heavyweight title since he first came to smackdown... the only problem is they decided to do it at the worst possible time in his career.
