Bart Gunn made his name in the old WWF in the 90's as a tag team wrestler. He shocked the company and the wrestling world when he knocked out Dr. Death Steve Williams in the 'Brawl For All' shoot fights on Raw. He was punished at Wrestlemania for knocking out JR's boy by facing "The King of the 3 Rounders", Butterbean.
Today, at age 42, Bart Gunn (currently working under the name Mike Barton) has started a brand new career - as an MMA fighter. Barton had his first fight on Saturday night and amazingly, he won.
At the "Rumble on the Rock: Qualifier Beatdown" show in Hawaii, Barton defeated a UFC fan favourite. Wesley Correira, better known as "Cabbage".
After a brief exchange of punches, which ended with a solid right being delivered by Barton, Correira took Barton to the ground where he was eventually able to take Barton's back. Correira then attempted to secure a rear naked choke, but Barton was able to escape and gain top position. Barton then landed a couple of huge blows, one of which cut Correira and resulted in the contest being stopped at only 1:46 of the first round.
Barton allegedly contacted management after seeing Eric "Butterbean" Esch's victory over Correira during Rumble on the Rock 8 and hopes to one day get a rematch with Butterbean. Their first fight resulted in "Butterbean" delivering a brutal knockout in under one minute of round one. After seeing the response of "Butterbean" in the MMA world, Barton plans to get his long awaited redemption in the cage.

By "Barton plans to get his long awaited redemption in the cage." do you really mean "Barton plans to get his block royally knocked off."?
I don't care how good he gets, Butterbean is a frigging freak of nature!
You can't choke the mo-fo out because HE'S GOT NO NECK!!! You can't put him in an armbar or leglock...because THEY'RE SOLID STICKS OF MEAT!!!
All good ole Bart can hope is that he's able to last twice as long in the ring as before with "tha Bean", which would mean he gets knocked out in 5 seconds instead of 2.
71-7-4 with 54 knockouts. Now that's a record!
ya BUTTERBEAN Is a freak of nature!! id love to see him against some UFC heavyweights
