Last night, I had the honour and privilege of attending the book release party of my idol and bredren Wes "Maestro" Williams. Better known to hip-hop fans as Maestro Fresh-Wes, his new book Stick To Your Vision has just been released, offering readers the opportunity to self-motivate and overcome the onset of stress brought on by haters.
Wes has been very successful through the years, not only as a musician but as an actor and now an author. As someone who he inspired greatly, I am proud to highly recommend this book. My autographed copy will be read soon but skimming it has already got me very impressed. Get your copy today.
Last night's party at The Drake Underground was like a family reunion of sorts as hip-hop notables from all over Toronto attended to watch their hero accept his accolades in addition to performing classics like "Drop The Needle", "Let Your Backbone Slide" and naturally, "Stick To Your Vision".
Word has it that Maestro and a bro you know will be collaborating on a track in the near future. More details to follow. In the meantime, grab that book and get up on some knowledge that is sure to help you reach your goals and achieve your dreams.
Check our Vid-e-o section in the right side bar for some classic Maestro videos.

Let Your Backbone slide = best hip hop track ever. Period.
I always thought it was so gangster how Wes would sit there and just let everyone dance around him and he never danced.
