Donnie, I thought the same thing when I saw Orton and Edge together. I was like “These dudes do have a history together.”
TNA tucked their tail between their legs and went back to Thursdays. They never should have made that move in the first place. It was way too soon. And Jay Lethal is like the Charlie Haas of TNA. He will never get bigger than he is now.
Dan-e-o, No Holds Barred is one of the first films I saw in a theater. Me and my cousin ran around with foil wrapped around our wrists clubbing each other on the shoulders. I cant help it, but that Organic Select commercial has me laughing my ass off. It reminds me of that episode of Simpson’s when they went to Kamp Krusty. “Everyone say hello to MR BLACK!”
As for Bubba being fired for what he said and whether or not it ha anything to do with where he is employed, when you’re a public figure in any sense you represent that company even on your “private” time. Plus, we have all worked somewhere where there was that one guy that you just wondered why they didn’t get fired! They get away with bad shit for a while and end up getting shit canned for something small. Its kinda like how in wrestling no one dies doing a Shooting Star. They die from piledrivers.
Dante I agree but like Donnie said - TNA knew what they were getting with BTLS.

what a fuckin funny episode !! Loved the opening song, and enjoyed Rico in it and on the whole show. Laughed my ass off during Tid's segment, he's starting to grow on me...
my thoughts on the PPVs .... I live in a small town and we don't have the WWE PPVs in theatres or in bars and as much as I am interested (sometimes) in the PPV i won't shell out the money to buy them as I know they will show much of the matches on Raw. i would gladly spend 15-20 bucks to see it on the "big screen"
and lastly..thank you dante for mentioning it first -- i hate that chicks voice in the organic select commercial, is that franks Tranny voice?
I cant hate on the Organic Select commercial. They sponsor the show I write for who in turn runs spots for my podcast. Its like when I first heard the Legacy Belts song I thought it was bad and then found myself singing to it every damn week. Now its Organic Select.
I'd watch a PPV if they played them here but they dont. They play UFC at some places in Los Angeles but its on a regular screen and the sound is down.
Dont mean to double post but holy shit Lethal sounds more like Flair than Flair!!! I just watched on youtube.

Just on the Edge/Christian brothers thing.
To me it's simple
Edge & Christian are brothers and should be portrayed that way on TV
Jay Resso and Adam Copeland have known each other since they were kids.
Just like Taker and Kane are brothers but Glen Jacobs and Mark Calloway are not.
If Christian came back as Jay Resso then sure drop the brother gimmick and have them say do something similar to what they did on Smackdown but if he is keeping the Christian gimmick and Adam Copeland is keeping the Edge gimmick then they are brothers.

I saw Robbie work recently in the UK and i was very very impressed by him. He sounds like a great guy. I had no idea he was a Canadian.
This episode was fuckin great. I like how Rico was the round table guest and NOT the former WWE guy on the phone. I think Roundtables are best when the guy is in studio with you and has intelligent thoughts to share.
