On January 11th we reported that Tony Halme was found dead.Finnish police has now gone on record as saying Tony Halme died by his own hand, using a small caliber pistol. Halme, better known as Ludvig Borga in the WWF was reportedly dead for two days before his body was found on January 10th.
In 2003, Halme was hospitalised following an incident in which he had fired a pistol in his Helsinki apartment, while under the influence of drugs and alcohol. That incident earned Halme a suspended prison sentence and a stiff fine.
In October of 2009, Halme was arrested for driving while under the influence of recreational drugs. Charges were still pending when he took his own life.
