Thanks to our friend, Greg Oliver of SLAM! Wrestling for the heads up.
Word hit the world late yesterday that the first alumni member of the wrestling fraternity to be taken from us in 2010 was none other than Tony Halme, better known to ring fans as "Ludvig Borga".
Halme worked in the WWF from 93-94. He was also a mixed martial arts fighter, author, actor, boxer and most recently (2003-2007) worked for a small, radical group as a politician in Finland. Tony Halme lived life to the fullest. Hard to believe the man was only 47 years of age.
At this time no foul play is suspected, but no cause of death has been issued either.
Please visit SLAM! Wrestling for more on the life of Tony Halme.

I'm correcting myself.... Tony was not first member of wrestling fam to do in 2010.
Memphis star Jim White passed away last thursday at the age of 67.
Dude was so cool when I was a kid. No lie (or "Ten" as you say) once a year I have some reason to say "I. Ludvig Borga" to someone and they never get the reference. He replaced Luger as my favorite Torture Racker.
Man, that's a shame. How could you not remember this man? I remember one particular time watching this dude cut a golden promo at Summerslam 1993. He said something to the effect of, "After I beat Marty Jannetty, I want Lex Luger." And he was standing in front of an abandon building with a bunch of trash and broken bottles etc in front of it. And he said, "United States. This is what you stand for, Lex Luger? This filth is what you call the Land of Opportunity? Everybody gets by welfare check by welfare check and I'm gonna show you what Ludvig Borga is all about." In my opinion, that was one of the best promos in Wrestling history.
This is the promo you mean!
