ok, i'm 3 minutes in and you guys are making me nervous. you MUST be pulling a joke or something. The O-show can only get BIGGER... right?

Carlito said...

Could the big announcement involve the long rumoured OTV?

I've never seen more than of a couple of episodes of "Dexter" (though I'd like to catch up), but I've seen every episode of "Six Feet Under", Michael C. Hall's previous show, and the idea you were throwing around about having characters sticking around next season as ghosts sounds waaaaaaay too similar what they did during the entire run of "Six Feet Under". The dad died in the first 15 minutes of the first show and still managed to be in just about every episode, other characters had similar things happen, and SPOILER WARNING (Show's been over for 4 years though guys...): The main character of the show died with 3 or 4 episodes left to go and was still on the show as much as anyone. Do you think that having the ghosts pop up in "Dexter" would draw too many comparisons?

I'm only about 30 minutes into episode 146 of the O-Show, so maybe it still gets brought up at some point, but I was thinking, if WWE is going to do the Slammys like an award show every year, wouldn't that be a great time to show some sort of "Ones We've Lost" segment like most other award shows do? They could make up for all the notable omissions from the past year *coughUMAGAcough* (hmmmm, "O-Mission", feel free to use that for something). It would be interesting to see how they'd book something like that. Would the younger guys go over? Or would they just (literally) get buried? Also, like the legit award shows, they'd have to sneak in names that no one knows, just so there could be the quiet, polite applause until the "producer" or "editor" graphic pops up. Here's hoping that they give Santino a "Technical Awards Given Last Week at a Separate Ceremony" segment next year...

I have a theory on this `big announcement`and if it is what I think it is, I don`t like it.

Bret Hart in fed tv............... OMG. Let the comedy begin.

Big Poppa Pump said...

When you allude, you make an ass out of you and me.

What`s the announcement... Has Bret Hart signed a 4 month deal with Tha O Show

Regarding Dexter:

Timeline is consistent as Dexter couldn't have made it to the automobile without Trinity having been somewhere else. The son was taken into police custody after the raid, so he is out.

Also consider this and look back at the episode. During his conversation with Trinity at the death table, Dexter tells Trinity he has a family. At that moment, Trinity eyes perk up and he chuckles. I then realize that Trinity just found out that Dexter doesn't know Rita is dead.

Also, Trinity's repeating of "It's already over." twice alludes to something more than just his own demise.

So, Dexter ends this season with Dexter failing as a Protector, not for just Rita, but also his son. He also has made an enemy of Quinn and now Debra will never glance at him in the same way again.

Now I have to ask all of the O-sters, where does this ending rate on all of the great season finales you have ever seen.

In that last post, Cham Pain looks like Rod Stewart.

OK, I'm concerned. I have a feeling the announcement is a recession type scale-back. Less O Show? Shorter program? Once a month? What THE FUCK is happening??????

Anonymous said...

I think the big announcement is Tha O Show will stop covering wrestling all together.

MKF said...

Cham Pain is back!!!!!

I thought he was getting added to the future endeavalaz pool.

Hipnosis said...

sooo.....Donnie's leaving O Show eh?

oh well...at least Dan-E-O's staying.....BETTER NOT DAMMIT!!

halb said...

i bet the announcement is that they are gonna charge for the show or a membership type deal

torrez said...

This big announcement seems a little too obvious.

Just one week after Dan-e-o announces he signed with a new label, and 3 weeks after Donnie asked him if he'd be touring the country and Dan said yes.

You heard it here first, Dan-e-o is leaving.

Robbie Nekoda said...

One of the guys is leaving?

Maybe someone else copyrighted the name or something so it has to change?

Hm.

Robbie Nekoda said...

Oh, and - BOOK SPOILER - I really hope they don't go the way of the Dexter books, 'cause that shit sucks. Where the 'dark passenger' isn't just his inner monologue, but an ACTUAL ANCIENT DEMON that gives Dexter KILLING POWERS, and when it leaves, he becomes a fucking wimp.

No thanks.

impatient cunt said...

FUCKING TELL US!!

Anonymous said...

Torrez I think is right.

Big Daddy Donnie said...

Well, I can say this much - there are no plans to start charging for Tha O Show Radio Program or any of the features on www.thaOshow.com

The announcement is personnel related.

Anonymous said...

^That pretty much comfirms that Dan is leaving. Fuck.

Well, who is coming back?

Tid? Fatty?

Moonsalt said...

The Rock does have another shitty movie coming out in mid-january so a January 4th guest spot wouldn't be a longshot

Jim j said...

Here is my top 10 guesses what the announcement most likely is.

I'll start with the MOST likely:

1) Dan-e-o leaves the show to focus on his music (this would fucking suck)

2) Donnie leaves the show to focus on gay porn (again, this would suck)

3) Notorious T.I.D. leaves the show to focus on murdering deer.

4)Curt B leaves the show (and nobody noticed)

5) T.J. comes back to the show as the new / old technical producer (not sure if that's even needed since the show has sounded great for the last two months)

6) Cham Pain has been fired from the show (this would rule)

7) We learn that The Black Prophet IS and always has been Frank Fronte (doubtful since Frank never had any talent)

8) Donnie will come out, hence ruining every gay joke for the rest of the show's existence

9) Dan-e-o will announce he's been cast in the part of Oscar for the new "Men On A Mission" movie from WWE Films. Playing the role of Mabel will be the returning Big Daddy V. Mo will be written out of the movie since nobody remembers him anyway.

10) I don't know!! PLEASE CHANGE NOTHING! I FUCKING LOVE THA O SHOW!!

Dan E O has sign to a record Deal. no more time for the o show

CHOM said...

I think the change is OTV or as you guys hinted O2!

Insider said...

Tha O Show has been looking for a replacement for Frank Fronte ever since he left. My guess is they finally found someone.

Anonymous said...

I can tell you that i am almost positive Frank is not returning to the show.

We have mutual friends and know that he is enjoying life outside of wrestling and is either recently married or will be soon.

My guess is Dan is bye bye for a 2010 tour.

mkf said...

Where do you get this idea Insider that they have looked for a replacement? They have said on the air that they specifically were not.

Anonymous said...

The concept of Big Daddy Donnie leaving seems to be 100% improbable. I think if BDD leaves, the show is done. I have a feeling the guesses are on the money and Dan is leaving.

Anonymous said...

People suggesting it has to do with OTV are forgetting that Donnie said it was a "personnel" announcement.

Insider said...

And you believed them? What a mark. They said they weren't because they didn't want people flooding their inbox with emails applying for the position.

Big Daddy Donnie said...

I can honestly say, Dan-e-o and I have NEVER discussed finding a replacement for Frank.

When our relationship was terminated, we moved forward and re-invented the show.

Only a few more days until we can make the announcement.

Unknown said...

Im pretty sure...if its anything...its that tha O show has to be done on a less consistant basis...as in maybe twice a month or something...its also possible that dan is leaving just because donnie has posted smashing some of the other things people have said other then dan leaving

PlanBFromOuterSpace said...

Maybe the show will SOUND different because someone won't be in the studio anymore. It doesn't necessarily mean that anyone would be leaving their co-hosting duties (as many have speculated), just that they might be phoning it in from the road or wherever else they might be. Whether it's Dan-e-o on tour, or anyone else for that matter, the show would sound different with not everyone being right there in the O-Zone Lair. Hmmmm, maybe we're thinking in the opposite direction. Maybe there's someone that usually phones it in that will actually become a more permanent fixture in the studio, possibly a 3rd regular co-host. Tid?

Anonymous said...

Dan leaving the show seems like its a done deal. Dan's been quiet - Donnie said its a personel choice but didnt shoot down people talking about Dan.

I think it's already planned, and it sucks. The chemistry with anyone else won't be the same.

Anonymous said...

Brutal.................. I DONT WANT ANYONE TO LEAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

:(

spinna said...

I think some people are getting worked, and this announcement will NOT be a bad thing.

Anonymous said...

I read on a message board that Tha O Show came to an agreement with The Law and one of the guys on The Law is going to be joining Tha O Show as a co-host.

Anonymous said...

This whole thing is scaring me and i hope that its been blown WAY out of proportion.

fiz said...

The Dan-e-o era on O Show is over. From now on he will be Dan-e-

Anonymous said...

Without Dan-e-o I think Donnie will end the show in 2010. I don't think he will want to do it without him, no matter who the new co-host is.

Anonymous said...

I don't think this has anything to do with how consistent the episodes are.
