“Sexy’s Got a Secret”. We open with a video package about Hulk coming to TNA and what he's planning. It’s heating up ladies and gentlemen...
Desmond Wolfe starts it off in the Six Sides of Steel ring. Dude's got balls, I’ll give him that. Desmond challenges Kurt to a match at Final Resolution called 3 Degrees of Pain.
This match is in a steel cage with the stipulation that it’s a best out of three falls match.
First is a pinfall win, second is a submission win and the third, if necessary is an escape from the cage win.
Angle comes out to confront Wolfe and storms the ring, climbs the cage and gives it to Wolfe, but Kurt gets caught blindside by the brass knucks on Wolfe’s fist. Desmond beats down Angle and leaves patting himself on the back. What a wanker - but what a good villain.
Angle in the back with Foley looking for a match against Wolfe for tonight. Angle pulls Mick’s card and says Foley is jealous of Hogan. Kurt is probably right. Has Angle ever fought Hogan? I don’t recall. Someone school me on that one.
British Invasion’s Doug Williams vs. MCMG’s Alex Shelley
Both guys are accompanied to the ring by their respective teams, but before the match even starts, the ref sends the other team members backstage. This was Williams’ match to lose. He had it all the way 'till Alex hit his “Sliced Bread”. That’s got to be the worst name for a finisher in all of wrestling. Shelly gets the pin. I’m not a fan of the Motor City Maggots.
I wish The Pope would shut up.
Foley is losing his mind over the Hogan situation. He’s in the back questioning D-Lo Brown about what he knows. Mick needs to chill.
Suicide vs. Homicide
We’ll call this the Death Match. Homicide was ruthless in this match, dominating throughout. Homicide gets caught in reversal after reversal 'till Suicide gets the pin.
After the match, Homicide attacks Suicide and tries to take off Suicide’s mask. Pope makes the save. Since I already know who Suicide is, I wouldn’t be surprised if Suicide gets reveled sooner or later.
Damn you Daniels. The Beautiful People follow Daniels in the back. WTF?
ODB’s guest tonight is the number one contender for the Knockout’s Championship, Tara. ODB calls her out in the interview and calls her nothing but a has-been Diva and even drops the WWE by name.
Then she attacks Tara. OK, why didn’t Tara fight back? Are y'all not about to fight for the belt? Come on Tara make me believe you deserve it, because I’m hoping you take that title away from that ODS. Yes out of respect for the real Ol' Dirty, from now on I’ll only refer to her as ODS not ODB. That’s Ol’ Dirty Skank.
The Pope vs. Jesse Neale
Yes Jesse is back as a madman courtesy of Team 3D. Sporting the punk look, Jes brings it to The Pope. Ruthless Aggression? Jes was starting to make The Pope look bad until he got caught in an upper cut followed by a DDT.
After the match Jesse attacks The Pope, lights go out and Suicide returns the favor by saving the Pope. Team 3D and Rhino take to the ring followed by Morgan and Hernandez to even things out.
Borring……I’m tired of all the team bullshit. Between TNA and Bragging Rights and Survivor Series. Whew…enough already. Gimme a break. Let’s have some real storylines.
I’m not a Team 3D fan anyway so anything they'reinvolved in is a yawner and predictable.
Hulk Video Package. Whatchya gonna do? Damn, what the fuck are you gonna do Hulk? That’s what I wanna know.
Kevin Nash & Eric Young vs. Beer Money
BM starts it off by spitting beer on Nash & Young. Nash & Young, that has a nice ring to it, ya'll gotta admit. Kevin and Eric work well as a tag team. BM put up a great fight. Storm is definitely a wild man.
He gives Eric Young the Eye of the Storm but Young kicks out. Young hits Storm with a low blow while Storm was distracted then gave him a pile driver to get the win.
Foley interrupts after the match, asking Nash about Hogan. Nash goes in on Mick with the disses and the last thing he said gets the O of the week from me. Nash says he and Hogan are “thinking about putting the band back together”.
Now that being said, we all know the WWE owns the copyright on the NWO. Does that mean we may see the return of Scott Hall??? Stay tuned, it’s heating up.
Right away folks, you see the difference in the build up and hype that has you guessing since this all started with Hogan. That type of atmosphere is what has been missing in wrestling lately whether it’s TNA or WWE.
That is what had me waiting all week for Monday Nitro. It was the surprises and wondering what was gonna happen. Let’s go!
Bobby Lasthey comes out with his gal who talks better than Bobby. Lashley is pussy whipped. I wish I could say Steiner was gonna win this one but I’m pretty sure he’ll put Bobby over.
Daniels thinks he’s gonna take the TNA strap from his buddy AJ. I think not. It will probably be a memorable match and hopefully it will shut Daniels up and he will go away and leave us alone. He has about as much charisma as a carrot.
Daniels vs. Abyss
AJ Styles joins the announce team and asks Sting to give him a call. Then he leaves the announcers to study Daniels’ match. Daniels was getting killed by Abyss. Abyss had Daniels set up for a choke slam, when Daniels cues the video of The Beautiful People in the back beating up Abyss’ beau. Enough to distract Abyss so Daniels could get the low blow then the roll up.
After the match Daniels challenges AJ. As Styles makes his way to the ring he gets blindsided by the mystery dude that attacked him weeks ago. So now we know Daniels is behind the mystery guy, but who is the mystery dude? And where is this going? Plenty of mysteries and secrets swirling around TNA that’s fo’ sho.
I gotta say, what’s with the wack merchandise X-mas commercial TNA? Looks like a cheesy local commercial. Come on, you guys can do better than that.
Dixie Carter Interview
What was with the Mike Tenay close up every time he asked a question? Dixie answered a lot of questions, but left a lot to ponder. She says she wants to take things to another level in TNA in all aspects of the company.
Here’s my contribution. Change that horrible logo, give it an update. Hell, I’ll even submit one if TNA is willing to make a change! Is Dixie married?
Mick’s still got the stroke? He calls Jeff Jarrett after Wolfe questions his authority. Jarrett tells Mick and TNA to screw themselves. Hmmm…Jarrett, was a former NWO member.
Hamada vs. Serita
Plenty of highflying and non stop action from the ladies here. Hamada takes this one. Serita is a hottie and like I said in this week's RAW Report, any Divas or Knockouts match is a good match to me.
Hamada is no prize to look at but she can fight. I would have rather seen The BP in action that’s for sure. Lacie I love you!
Kurt Angle vs. Dr. Stevie & Raven
Kurt Angle makes his way to the ring, followed by Mick Foley who tells Angle he is not fighting Wolfe tonight but rather he’ll be fighting Dr.Stevie and Raven! Foley wins either way, who ever wins as long as Angle, Stevie and Raven all get hurt. It’s all good. Mick gets revenge all around.
Raven and Stevie pick Angle apart. During the match Tenay announces that JB confirmed that next week Foley is going to Jarrett’s house in Nashville to talk with Jeff!
Angle finally mounts a comeback, when Abyss takes out Dr. Stevie on the ramp distracting Raven. Kurt hits the Angle Lock to make Raven tap. Wolfe hits the ring and takes out Angle to go off the air.
I’m getting tired of this wanker getting the best of Kurt out of nowhere. Although I’ll give Wolfe credit he is definitely convincing me more than Shameus that he is an actual threat.
What was your favorite match of the night?
