In Tha O Show's fifth "Gets An 'O'" feature, we had to nominate two YouTube Videos Of The Week!
Two icons in hip-hop have joined forces to produce an anthem for real hip-hop in a time when we so desperately need it. KRS-One & Buckshot's album Survival Skills is out now. The first single and video "Robot" says all you need to know about hip-hop today.
Two OTHER hip-hop icons in Ed O.G. & Masta Ace have also teamed up to release Arts & Entertainment. The first single "Little Young" is a perfect partner to the "Robot" song as these hip-hop veterans communicate to the younger generation the true nature of this artform.
Discovering these two videos recently and the fact that many legendary "singles competitors" have gone on to create new tag-teams in hip-hop is rebuilding my hope for this genre. Enjoy!
If you have suggestions for YouTube videos deserving to get an "O", send your nomination idea to info@dan-e-o.com.
