South Park To Air WWE-Themed Episode *Updated*

Next week on Comedy Central, South Park is set to air a WWE-themed episode titled "W.T.F."

Pro Wrestling + South Park = A raging clue.

The one sentence preview for the episode is as follows: "After seeing a live wrestling match, the boys find their true calling in life."

Here's a 33 second preview clip for the episode, featuring John Cena and Edge . . .

In most cases, South Park episodes contain some sort of message. Will Trey Parker and Matt Stone bash professional wrestling for too many of its performers dying young? Do the writers actual enjoy the product?

Let the speculation begin.

The episode airs next Wednesday at 10 pm on Comedy Central in the United States, and next Saturday at 9:30 pm on The Comedy Network in Canada.

*UPDATE* Comedy Central sent out a press release Monday, hyping Wednedsday's show:

The Boys Go to the WWE for the First Time in an All-New 'South Park' Premiering on Wednesday, October 21 at 10:00 p.m. on COMEDY CENTRAL(R)

NEW YORK, Oct. 19 -- After attending a WWE match, the boys all want to be professional wrestlers in an all-new "South Park" titled, "W.T.F.," premiering on Wednesday, October 21 at 10:00 p.m. on COMEDY CENTRAL.

The boys have found their new calling in life and they hurry to sign up for the wrestling club. They soon find out the kind of wrestling they teach at school is not the same thing they saw at the WWE. The boy's wrestling coach has the same problem. He's been struggling for years to get people to see the difference.

Launched in 1997, "South Park," now in its 13th season, remains the highest-rated series on COMEDY CENTRAL. "South Park" repeats Wednesdays at 12:00 a.m., Thursdays at 10:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. and Sundays at 11:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m.

Co-creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are executive producers, along with Anne Garefino, of the Emmy® and Peabody® Award-winning "South Park." Frank C. Agnone II is the supervising producer. Eric Stough, Adrien Beard, Bruce Howell, Vernon Chatman and Erica Rivinoja are producers. "South Park's" Web site is www.southparkstudios.com.

I anticipate some pro wrestling bashing. I guess we'll see Wednesday night.

Holy Shit!!!!! This 33 second clip match of Edge vs Cena was way better than what the WWE actually puts on RAW for their fans on a weekly basis!!! Oh, and Cena also had me on the edge of my seat in this clip. This cartoon John Cena is sooooooooo much more talented the the real Cena!!!!

Two of my favorite things in one half hour. I don't care if they bash wrestling because I'm sure they'll be brilliant in doing so, as they always are.

Lets just hope this doesn't lead to Cartman hosting Raw in a cross-promotion.

I have the weird feeling that they will use the ghost of Chris Benoit in some shape or form in the episode...
