Tha A List Analysis

I'm amazed at the legs ECW is able to give to storylines. Sure, with such a small roster their options are fairly limited to begin with, but still, I'm amazed that the Miz/Morrison/Dreamer angle has lasted for this long. Seriously, this angle just materialized from Morrison making fun of Dreamer, and it's been running for a good month or so now.

I mentioned to Donnie a few weeks ago (I mentioned it in an article first, but I knew Big Daddy wouldn't ever read it anyway) that John Morrison should be the guy who goes over in Dreamer's last match. The response I got was that the feud wouldn't last that long. Will it? Of course not, but could it, and more importantly, should it? I think so.

Of course, the current champion, Jay Fenix, tagged with the tag champions to take on Dreamer, Christian, and Finlay last night in a six-man tag match. The match was solid, with Christian ultimately eating a Gutwrench Powerbomb and a pin. I'm still not sure what they plan on doing with Swagger at WrestleMania; they have several viable options, as have been discussed on recent editions of O Show Radio. How ironic. The show with the smallest roster by far is the show that's currently the least predictable in terms of storyline. Think maybe that's a sign that other shows are underutilizing much of their roster?

Speaking of WrestleMania, whose bright idea was it to put Mark Henry anywhere near a ladder? Not only is it a terrible idea to have Mark Henry in a ladder match, but the guy he went over on, Santino Marella, is a guy who should be in Money In The Bank. Santino deserves a spot on the big card other than being Beth Phoenix' valet, and given his character, this is probably the best possible spot for him.

Another worker in Money In The Bank that makes me question the booking is Kane. There aren't many guys on the roster I would say this about, but in Kane's case, he is so far off the radar in terms of both fan response and in terms of a push that if you're going to put him in this match, the only reason you should is because you plan on having him go over. The odds of that happening, however, are very small indeed, and that is why I am shitting all over that idea.

I'm also shitting on him pinning Boogeyman. With how small the ECW roster is, why take a guy like Boogeyman, who you've pushed enough and is over enough to be used as a higher card guy on the show, and job him out to a guy with no heat and no push from one of the bigger shows?

Last but not least, I'm sure all of Canada would be up in arms if I didn't mention the Prodigy in Pink, Tyson Kidd, or his lovely bride-to-be, Natalya. A feud seems to be brewing between these two and the DJ Gabriel/Alicia Fox tandem. I'm all for this idea, because to me, it shows that Kidd is going to be around for awhile, unlike guys who come in, have undefeated streaks, lose them, then vanish off the radar completely. (See: Tatanka) God knows he deserves to stick around, he looks great and both he and the lovely Nattie know how to work.

Tha Results:
*Kane def. Boogeyman
*Mark Henry def. Santino Marella in a Money in the Bank Qualifying Match
*Natalya def. Alicia Fox
*Jack Swagger, The Miz & John Morrison def. Christian, Tommy Dreamer & Finlay

I was just wondering y doesn't anyone do the raw report anymore. It is always a recap from angrymarks.com. I dont care what anyone says but Casur can write a good review about any WWE show. I want to read reviews not recaps from another site. Another thing how come smackdown is almost never reviewed unless before like a PPV?
I'm just sayin.

And i got tickets to the Smackdown/ECW live show in NY at MSG on April 28th, hopefully the draft which is before then doesnt screw ECW up.

Mach23,

Thanks for your questions. My honest response: I agree with you!

Tha O Show staff has become increasingly busy lately and many of us are missing the original broadcast of the shows. We prefer, of course, to get a recap up shortly after the original airing and we're not always available to do that.

Our affiliates over at Angry Marks however always have recaps and we offer them to our readers as well to keep everyone updated.

That being said, we ARE looking for new writers for the staff who can watch and review each show.

If you or any other O-sters would like to submit sample articles to staff@thaoshow.com, it would be much appreciated.

Boogeyman has been fired! I gues that explains last night. Lame, weak, bullshit. Kozlov gets clean win over Taker but Marty Wright can't keep a job.

Thanks Daneo. I would'nt be able to and i'm probably terrible anyway. But i just think that raw and ecw should be reviewed and smackdown should have the recap from angrymarks. If u guys have time that is.
