I'm confused by this - because last I heard .... 48 hours ago - Test was in Texas.
I'm looking into this...

I can now confirm, that the body found was in fact that of Andrew Martin.
R.I.P. my friend.
Any word on how he died?
I haven't heard anything yet, Zyrone. Here's the official statement from the Tampa Police Department.
"At approximately 8:00pm on Friday, March 13, 2009, Tampa Police Officers responded to the Post Harbour Apartments, located at 725 Harbour Place Drive to check on the welfare of Mr. Andrew J. Martin. A neighbor reported that she could see into his apartment through a window and that Mr. Martin appeared motionless for several hours.
Officers entered the apartment and discovered Mr. Martin to be deceased. At this time there is no indication of foul play. The deceased was transported to the Medical Examiners Office for an autopsy to determine the cause of death. The date of the autopsy is undetermined at this time. The next of kin has been notified of the death."

Test was with his girlfriend, Kelly Kelly shortly before his death ... other than that, very little is known.
ESPN has picked up the AP story:

And here's what Kelly Kelly posted on her myspace:
"You were my world my best friend the one i always ran to u were always there for me..what happened to our plan...Why did god take u away from me...my heart is always with u and u only..I know your in heaven watching over me now my angel..."

According to Jim Ross' blog entry from this morning, WWE footed the bill for Martin to enter rehab last August, and he had been going to AA meetings since then while keeping in regular contact with the Fed. F'n shame.
Wow, this one actually shocked me. I always liked Test. RIP.
Yet another one bites the dust well before his/her time.
R.I.P. Test. Always liked ya, always hoped you'd clean up and get another run. I think a lot of us quietly hoped for that, but...sometimes things don't work out how anyone wanted. You will be missed, sir.
Just realized something. With Wrestlemania coming up, I feel I should point it out.One more match has now been added to the 'Wrestlemania Curse': Test vs. Eddy Guerrero at X-Seven.
am really sorry to hear this, even sorrier that his best days have been many years behind. Only die hard fans, people that have been paying attention to the sport for at least 10 years know his history. Sadly, between the the teenie boppers, and the people that only pays attention to wrestling when somebody dies, some people actually out there be asking "Test, who?"
Thinking back to the last time he was mentioned on one of your podcast, I didn't know he was still with Kelley Kelley. I do hope to her, his family and friends that they can have some peace from the media that will speculate many things that was the cause of his death.
