Plus it gives these five guys a "main event" match and it ties in other feuds to give other dudes a shot to shine. Evan Bourne gets shine, Bam Neely gets a little shine, and Tommy Dreamer keeps himself in picture.
"The Dirt Sheet" is golden, it's the only thing I ever see on WWE.com because I think John Morrison is insanely entertaining, and The Miz doesn't do that bad with Morrison to bounce his comedy off of. The concept is great and each time it's been on television it's been great. Not only that it led to an eight man tag team match and it got Windham and Rotunda on television if only briefly.
"The Dirt Sheet" segment gave Matt Hardy the mic again, and before you start your, "Matt Hardy was terrible on the mic," whiny spewing just hold on a minute and think about it. You personally may not like what he says or how he says it, but he is a draw. The same people that talk down about Matt Hardy are the exact same guys who take up for John Cena. Need I say more? I didn't think so. Matt Hardy is a draw, Matt Hardy is over, and for those that haven't made up their minds on him or are new to Tha O Show don't let the 10% of gutter balls that don't get it ruin it for you.
Let me take another second to praise the announce tandem of Matt Striker and Todd Grisham. I think I personally gave Todd Grisham more flack than any human should endure. I will gladly raise my hand and say I was wrong to an extent. He isn't suited for the interviewer role that WWE thrusts onto each new broadcaster they get. Very few make it through and not all pan out in other aspects. They're still trying to find Mike Adamle's niche.
I popped out loud for Super Crazy being on TV. Crazy may not be what he once was, and he may be carrying a little extra weight around the guttal region, but you know what, he's still entertaining to watch. Call him a spot monkey, call him what you will, but in the wrestling business there is a place for everything, and the way he pulls off his moves, works his gimmick and plays to the crowd I don't see a downside to having him on your undercard.
Thank God that the Curt Hennig DVD is coming out. Bobby Roode will be watching, Andrew Gray will be watching, Christopher Casur will be watching, I will be watching, and quite frankly, you should too. You'll be getting hour after hour of Curt Hennig, and with that folks, you just can't go wrong. Sorry to take a piece out of my ECW article for that, but being a Curt Hennig mark, and that this is my review, why not.
Ricky Ortiz, you know some weeks I'm pro, some weeks I'm not. He got another win and people are actually buying those towels. Braddock made another in ring appearance and put over Ricky. Ortiz isn't bad. He's got the size Vince gets hard over, he's got a gimmick, but he doesn't completely have the crowd yet but he is working on it. He's pretty much on the same level that Kofi Kingston was on some months ago.
The eight man tag team was no five star classic, it was nothing we'd not seen before, it was merely a continuation of feuds but most importantly it backed up the claim I made weeks ago when I said Matt Hardy is the King of the old school title chase. He got the pinfall victory over Mark Henry, meaning that win, lose, draw or no-show during the championship scramble this ECW Championship feud will continue, and in the end Matt Hardy will not only be ECW Champion, creative will realize he's a guy you can put as the focal point of a show.
Quick results...
*Super Crazy def. Gavin Spears
*Ricky Ortiz def. Ryan Braddock
*Team Hardy def. Team Henry

Not to be a dick, but it's HENNIG, not Henning.
Other than that, excellent post.
You're a cocksucker for consistently coming up with catchy article names. Go drink a mojito, ya vanilla midget.
Shooooooooooooooot!
Jesus this articles had more name changes then Billy Gunn. Best name yet though. You should make slogans for Ritz or something lol.
I legit didn't realized that it was Hennig until earlier this year. Always said Henning.
Sorry about that. I'll make those changes. Plus it's always really been Mr. Perfect for me and the E.
Thanks for the feedback guys. I'll look into making those slogans.
how many writers has ecw had
There have been 4.
Ben Bodreau got it kicked off with "Chair Shots And Table Spots", then "Downtown" Jeff Brown created "Tha TNE Throwaway", then DJB created "Tuesday Night Turmoil", which ran along with my intermittent relief ECW articles, "Extreme Edition".
