Word has spread this morning that the first Knockout Champion in TNA history, Gail Kim is officially DONE with Total Non Stop Action Wrestling.Her profile was removed from the TNA website's roster section last night. This comes as a shock to many as Gail has always been a prominent feature in the Knockout Division. Gail's contract with TNA expired last week.
Several people have made the suggestion that Gail's release may be a work much like Frankie Kazarian's and Chris Daniels', with the intention of bringing her back under a hood. Gail began her career as a masked wrestler known as La Felina on the Toronto indy scene. All of that was just wishful thinking.
The biggest story spawning off of this is that Gail was getting sick of the backstage catfights and may be eyeing a WWE return. She may already have a verbal agreement in her back pocket.
