Okay, I have to admit it, my last TNA article was a little on the negative side. It was undeservedly so, as TNA has been putting out a better product as of late.However, what I have just read online is so mind-boggling that I pray to God that it was mark reporting. I really, really, REALLY want to be wrong on this one.
With the recent signings of Matt Morgan and Andrew Martin, along with reports of TNA being in negotiations with former WWE superstars Rikishi and A-Train, rumors have begun to spread over the past week that the X Division Title may soon go the way of
the buffalo.
That's right, folks-the very aspect of TNA that so many wrestling fans spotlighted as what made them different from WWE is about to be put to sleep. This is most likely why guys like Jay Lethal, who was arguably the most over wrestler in TNA until he was buried by Joe, have seen their in-ring time visibly decreased. The shows are making it clear that TNA is trying to focus more on heavyweights.
Don't focus on the goddamn heavyweights! If they weigh a lot...great, if not, that's great too! Focus on wrestling ability instead of subscribing to Vince McMahon's philosophy on how to draw ratings. Especially since WWE is tanking right now!
I mentioned that guys in TNA who legit deserve a spot at the top of the company are now being pushed to the wayside by WWE rejects. Sure, A-Train's a big guy, but who the fuck would rather see him be the champ instead of someone like AJ Styles? This was the reason Ron Killings left! You dumbasses want to start alienating more of the guys who helped make you?!
Since the Chris Benoit tragedy, wrestling has had all of its fun sucked out of me. If it weren't for this site, I would have tapped out already. The wrestling world can tell me all they want that "they put smiles on faces". Fuck that, this is not a motherfucking Dairy Queen! If I want feel-good, happy-happy Snoop time, I'll go rent a Disney movie! Actually, scratch that. Fuck Walt Disney while I'm at it!Getting rid of the X Division Title will ruin TNA. That title, and the division in general, was a huge draw. Without the title, it's a sure sign that the X Division and its superstars are also on their way out the door.
The wrestling world needs a swift kick in the ass. Consider this to be the wind-up for that kick. If this shit keeps up, my next hate-filled rant is gonna be worse. I will record my next one, and "ten" this: the language will be on par with New Jack's.

Sure it sucks for Black Machismo and The Guru Sonjay Dutt. Oh and Petey Williams, it's confirmed he still works there. Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin are now the Motor City Machine Guns, and A.J. is doing his Christian Coalition thing, so what's left for the X division, seriously.
Jay Lethal may be over as a motherfucker, and he is, but you know what, he and that gimmick will stand long after the X Division title bites the dust. If he doesn't RoH will be dying to have him back.
Senshi, Chris Daniels and Elix SkippyGipper are TripleX. We literally have two guys that are Xdivision only, so weigh the options.
Two guys for a belt, and bring in Petey for a magical third. Or discard that and utilize your new talent, which like it or not will draw in ratings, because they are NAMES, and FACES that marks recognize.
Truss, I agree, I hate that the big fuckers are getting the shine that WAS reserved for the X division, but honestly there really isn't an Xdivision anymore, and TNA will probably bring in another title that will allow all 3 Xdivision guys to compete with everyone else.
I think this would be the worse think TNA has ever done if they get rid of the X-Division. The X-Division is waht put TNA on the map with guys like AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Jerry Lynn, Low-Ki, Chris Sabin and Petey Wiiliams.
The ulimate X match is also one of the best original ideas that TNA has come up with to. Don't get rid of the X-Division TNA, please !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Signguy, while I do agree with you bro, and trust me I do, I stated above my reasons that this isn't a terrible idea. We all love the X-Division...the X-Division of years gone by.
Styles, Christopher Daniels, Jerry Lynn, Low-Ki, Chris Sabin and Petey Wiiliams. Those are the guys you mentioned by name. Styles-Christian Coalition, and is quite entertaining. Jerry Lynn took a 24 year break and came back with a decent little X division run, but he and Bob Backlund are apparently a tag team.
Daniels and Low-Ki are back in Triple X. Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley are the MCM's, and Petey Williams does still work there, they just can't get him a gimmick, I know I'm coming from the Department of Redundancy Department of Redundancy Dept. but the X-Division stars don't have much to do with the X-Division anymore.
Sure Daniels is the X-Division #1 contender, but with one match, or two they can completely and totally erase that from memory.
I dont want to see the X-Division go anywhere, but other than our feelings for a week, maybe even a month, what will it change?

The X title excludes no one. It started off that way but when Nash won it that shit went out the window. I thought it was for fast high flyers. Joe has the belt. Anyone can get the damned thing. Give it back to friggin' Lethal.
Spend more time on the X guy matches and less on Kurts ass and horrible acting family. I swear I thought his daughter was gonna crack up laughing when he was yelling at her. His wife cant act either. She was like a deer in headlights.
I don't think TNA will really drop the X Division! I heard they were trying to bring Konnan back to lead a team of wrestlers from AAA to feud with LAX. AAA means LUCHA LIBRE! They can't throw away the X Division with luchadors in TNA!
