Falling Starr

Just days after the Randy Orton incident, the professional wrestling world has seen another superstar get suspended. Austin Starr (also known in-ring as Austin Aries) has been suspended for 90 days following misconduct backstage.

Starr, who debuted his new persona last October at Bound For Glory, received an immediate push that eventually faded out entirely. Starr has made no bones about the fact that he is unhappy with his current position in the company, and has been sporting a bad attitude as a result.

He originally angered TNA management when he showed up for the Lockdown Fanfest wearing a Ring Of Honor t-shirt. Then, on top of that, TNA asked him to shoot some promos this past Monday. He was audibly upset about doing it, and when all was said and done, the shoot was cancelled.

So far, there has been no talk of releasing him. As always, Tha O Show will keep you updated as we find out more.

Like we talked about earlier TNA should welcome RoH stuff, because thats where a good bit of the TNA roster comes from. Austin Aries is one of the best wrestlers TNA has, the fucknuts running the place just dont happen to know how to use it.

An update on the Orton situation-

Reports are currently stating that Orton's punishment will simply be a fine. The amount was not disclosed.

are you officially tha o show dirt sheet correspondent?

Nah, I just happened to beat everybody else to it this time.

I see the stuff, but I figured nobody cared. But apparently we all do, so we can now all freely dump dirtsheet shit onto Tha O Show

I had thought that too originally when I saw the thing about Glen Gilberti, which is why I didn't write an article about it. Then I saw Frank write one and I was like "Okay, this is stuff that's newsworthy."

Some people don't read dirtsheets and come here for all their wrestling information, so it doesn't hurt.

Sources are saying that Orton was being fined and not even suspended, so he'll be working the Backlash on Sunday.

Another thing being said is...

Vince McMahon is terrified of letting anyone go to TNA, which is why there has been tremendous heat on guys like Carlito for interviews that they've done and few are ever fired (though Carlito is doing jobs left and right, and Orton is almost certainly doing the job Sunday).

He'd be smart to let certain guys go to TNA. I'll get to that in a future "Sharpshoot" column.
