Exclusive Interview with Robert Roode

Traci Brooks

You didn't think that Tha O Show would interview Traci Brooks without talking to the man she manages now would you?

Big Daddy Donnie and Dan-e-o were fortunate enough to speak with one Robert Roode (Bobby to us!) for an exclusive interview recently.

The man with the biggest push (a la vignettes) in recent TNA history is still awaiting his deserved spot as a main event contender in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling.

Also a major star on Canada's Blood, Sweat and Ears roster, Roode is proving to be one of the greatest in-ring technicians in the business today.

Following in the footsteps of so many Canadian wrestlers before him, Robert Roode is bound to hold gold in the near future creating a long lasting legacy.

You know what to do. Click play on the Flash Player and hear Robert talk about:

-training with Sean Morley (Val Venis)

-having his favourite wrestler, Curt Hennig as a huge inspiration

-his old-school robe that he wears to the ring and its significance to the tradition of professional wrestling

-working with Traci Brooks

-his time wrestling in Puerto Rico

-the lost art of 'ring psychology' and who he feels are modern-day specialists

-being part of the former Team Canada in TNA

-Team Canada leader Scott D'Amore and his importance to the elevation of Canadian talent in the pro wrestling business

-his frustration with the new Robert Roode character-push falling short

And much more!

For more on Robert Roode, check out TNA's website www.tnawrestling.com.

I always look forward to your interviews. Keep it up! They are always so informative... reminds me of RF Video's shoots.

I haven't spoken to Valentine in years... I've interviewed him a half dozen times in past, and he was always great for dishing dirt

MarKus K. Fabian here (from Ontario Indy MSG Board). What's with there being TWO K. Fabians now ? I didn't realize I had a brother!

I remember seeing "Total" Lee Awesome work Edge in 1998, Bobby Rude has come a long way!
