Report: Monty Brown Signs With WWE

The WWE has confirmed that what Monty Brown has been telling his friends for quite some time is in fact true.

Monty Brown has been signed by the WWE.

"The Alpha Male" has got to go to "Raw". He's the kind of guy Jim Ross will love. He's big, well built and has a football pedigree unmatched by any other recent WWE stars.

Brown, was a college All-American before playing in the NFL for five years as a hard nosed linebacker. Brown competed at Superbowl XXVIII as a member of the Buffalo Bills.

A lifelong wrestling fan, the charismatic Brown was broken into the business the hard way - being trained by two of the toughest: Dan Severn and Sabu.

His time in TNA was somewhat hard to figure. He had more charisma than 80% of the roster, and could certainly deliver better matches than you'd expect from a man his size - but he always seemed to be stuck underneath the glass ceiling.

I know Dan-e-o never got down with Monty because he just can't stand the POOOOOOOUUUUUUNNNNCEE-ahhh. Period.

It is entirely possible that Monty will come in, be fed to Batista or Booker and be relegated to web broadcast wrestling. Or, he could be the biggest steal for this company since landing 'Stunning Steve' Austin.

Brown's start date has not yet been confirmed.

Best of luck to The Alpha Male... I hope he can handle the schedule WWE is going to put him on...

My question is, what's his angle coming in? Will Vince have him trash the guys in orlando? or is he still in the "i will not acknowledge TNA" frame of mind?

I really think this was the first good move the WWE has done in some time. TNA stole a misused potential headliner in Christian; it's time the E returned the favor. Now all they have to do is find someone to compete with TNA's acquisitions of the James Gang, The Dudleys, and of course Kurt Angle (Good luck)

Do you guys not smell your own racially biased undertones??

You call him the next Ahmed? Why? Cuz he's black and built? Ahmed Johnson was a shit wrestler and Monty Brown is more than decent. Ahmed Johnson couldn't cut a promo if his career depended on it - and it did, and it got him fired.

Why would that nex man think he's going to feud with Lashley? Because Lashley's a black guy?

Hell why not have him come in as third member of Crime Time?

So fuckin racist.

Again, another black guy?

You couldn't compare him to a white guy?
how about a more charismatic Sean O'Haire????

If you compare the football past of Monty and Ahmed you're an idiot.

Everytime someone wants to backpedal on a comment they previously stated... We always hear "it was tongue and cheek"... say what you mean and mean what you say... It is very difficult to succesfully deliver sarcasm or "tongue and cheek" in text...

and to whomever put chyna over the new age outlaws... who had the more memorable quote?

New Age Outlaws "...Your ass better call somebody!"
or
Chyna "no! that bulge isn't a penis"

Of course they were pandering to the smarks... do you know how many wrestlers actually call their peers by their real name???????????

VERY FEW!

Monty Brown-
Charisma--Yes
Talent--Pretty good
Using the pounce as his finisher in the WWE---hell no.

I could see him breaking in and taking a shot towards the intercontinental if he does go to raw.
