Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that the five members of The Spirit Squad were told Monday Night after RAW that their group is about to be broken up.
At this point, it's not known when this is being initiated, but it is very clear that it will be happening sooner than later.
Expect an impromptu title match with The Highlanders, to have th Spirit Squad drop the belts to the Canadian (errr Scottish) boys.
Another possibility is to simply but the titles on DX.
There are rumors that as many as three members of the Spirit Squad could be heading to OVW or could be released entirely.
Most recent information indicates the company is still very high on Mickie James' fiance (Kenny Doane) and Johnny Jeter.

That sucks so bad. The Spirit Squad are the only good thing on most episodes of RAW these days!
Apparently management thinks that the Spirit Squad are the reason that DX is tanking (not the fact that you know...having a 37 year old and 42 year old reprise their goofball roles from 10 years ago is, oh, I dunno...CREEPY!!!).
Let's see. Drop the tag belts to the Highlanders, let the Highlanders have a good six to seven month reign as champs (of course not defending the belts during this stretch), and break them up as well. Tag team wrestling should just be done away with in the WWE. The tag division hasn't been shit since the New Age Outlaws....and that too was almost ten years ago.
Almost forgot...another good gimmick killed off since Muhammad Hassan.
Meltzer doesn't know his head from his ass
yo Jay
how many wrestlin fans do you think remember Kaientai???
Yo Big Daddy
I still remember Yamaguchi-San always wearing a Yomimuri Giants baseball jersey at big RAW events and/or ppv's.
I still liked Kaientai towards the end when they were poorly dubbed and alledged they were evil despite the fact that they did nothing evil at all. Of course all they did was job to the Brothers of Destruction, but that was part of the appeal. Also other good post Outlaw tag teams: MNM, Hardy Boyz, Edge & Christian, Dudley Boys.
Ive always loved a good tag team division and I had hopes that MNM might spark the creation of new teams and a more vibrant division. But no. They lost it to every face team that would appear and fade away, then win it back because they were the only legit. team in the business. Nope the Highlanders are going to go the way of Cade & Murdock, LOD '05, Hurricane & Rosey, La Resistance, and all those other teams that broke up before I could remember their names
I'll answer that Watch.
Val Venis is very, very intelligent man who had a future with this company as an agent. He has a great mind for the business and has been a tremendous boyscout for the WWE.
While some wrestlers bitch about work conditions and whisper about unions, politically / management minded Sean Morely always sides with the McMahons.
Let's also not forget, that his lame ass gimmick (which he NEVER SHOULD HAVE BEEN saddled with) died, but he himself is sitll a very talented worker. He can put over every new guy coming in and make them look good doing it.
His "Chief Morely" gimmick three years ago was a foreshadow of his future in the business.
His match with C.M. Punk that was supposed to air on Heat is a top-notch match.

Go watch it....now!
That was a damn solid match. Thanks for the link.
No problem guys. I'd go as far as to say that's a MotY nominee...wouldn't win it, but it's on the short list.
This site is one of the best I have ever seen, wish I had one like this.
